• Selena, a singer from Corpus Christi, Texas, was a very popular singer of Tejano music.
• Shakira, a famous latin singer, has alot of popularity in most latin countries, and America.
• Frida Kahlo is a famous Mexican Painter.
• Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta are famous mexican-american politcal activists.
• The Alamo is a famous Texas church, where a battle took place against the mexican army.
• Daddy Yankee is a famous Reggaeton artist.
• Many Mexicans are proud of their Mestizo heratige, a mix of white spanish, and the native indians.
• The Aztec pyramids at Tenochtitlan are very popular with tourism.
• Cinco de Mayo is a important Mexican holiday, it commemorates the mexican victory over the french in the battle of puebla, but is not their independance day! that is sept. 16.

Let's not forget the Chupacabra

The Chupacabra is of Puerto Rican origin not Mexican as commonly believed. Adding some Día de los Muertos style treats or quests to Halloween would be nice.--SirFranz 17:15, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
