- Issue
- Item spell is not stealing 30...90 health according to update.
- Same as Frvwfr2: "20% hp is 120 health on a normal character. Nothin does this much damage, so the only use for this is the life steal - which is also too weak to notice."
- Suggestion
- *Fix it so it steals the appropriate amount.
- *Since its not going to happen heres some ideas:
5 1 20 - (Restoration Magic) Elite Item Spell. (15...51...60 seconds.) You cannot lose more than 15% of your max Health from a single hit. Steal health equal to the difference in damage. Drop effect: steal 5...41...50 Health from nearby foes.
- 15% of the overall of 500 is 75 but this way players can opt to decrease their health bar to 450 so 15% will be 67.5=>68. Another steal health function has been added but it steals the difference.
- Defiant Was Xinrae -
10 1 20 - (Restoration Magic) Elite Item Spell. (15...43...50 seconds.) You cannot lose more than 10% of your max Health from a single hit. Allied Spirits withing earshot gain health equal to the difference in damage. Drop effect: Allied Spirits withing earshot gain 10...66...80 Health.
- It is already in Restoration, abusing Communing will not be strong since point must be spent in Spawning Power and Restoration plus those spirits loses health fast. The idea of the drop effect is to make the spirits last one more use. Energy cost has increased and time duration decrease as not to make a sedentary Ritualist still it could use more tweaks.
- Suggestion 2
-
- "Elite Item Spell. (15...51...60 seconds.) If you are withing earshot of a spirit, you can not lose more than 10% of your max Health due to damage."
- Suggestion 2-A
-
- "Elite Item Spell. (15...51...60 seconds.) If you are withing earshot of a spirit, you can not lose more than 10% of your max Health due to damage. Any damage a spirit takes withting earshot is divided equally with you."
- Suggestion 3
-
- "Elite Item Spell. (15...51...60 seconds.) You cannot lose more than 20% of your max Health from a single hit. Drop effect: steal 5...41...50 Health from nearby foes. Your party members gain health equal to the life stolen this way."
- Suggestion 3-A
-
- "Elite Item Spell. (15...51...60 seconds.) If you are withing earshot of a spirit, you cannot lose more than 10% of your max Health from a single hit. Drop effect: steal 5...41...50 Health from nearby foes. Your (party members/spirits) gain health equal to the life stolen this way."
Frvwfr2

- 20% hp is 120 health on a normal character. Nothin does this much damage, so the only use for this is the life steal - which is also too weak to notice.
- Suggestion
- "Hold Xinrae's Ashes for x...x...x seconds. While you hold her ashes your ritualist skills cost 20% less energy. When you drop her ashes, all allies within earshot are healed for 10...70...85.
5 ¾ 15 " Cheap PwK, different effect, etc. Blah blah, not thought out, but its ALLIES so useful in CM to counter nukers. ~~ frvwfr2 (talk · contributions) 20:22, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
Lancy's Propsoal
- Issue
- -Weak elite, lifestealing is minimal and the damage reduction is barely noticeable
- -Typically when ritualists carry ashes, they lose the bonuses of carrying their item
- -Thus, I altered this Ash to provide a buff to restoration ritualists as well as having a party heal upon dropping the ashes
Suggestion
10 1 20 - (Restoration Magic) "Hold Xinrae's Ashes for 1...20...25 seconds. While holding her ashes, your restoration magic spells activate 50% faster, you reduce incoming damage to 10% of your maximum health and you gain +10 maximum energy. When you drop her ashes, all party members within earshot are healed for 15...79...95 health."--Lancy1214 21:43, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
4th proposal
- Issue
- what Frvwfr2 said, not much damage hits over 20% of ur max health, the life steal is worse than Unholy Feast and doesn't really do anything, itemspells costs ur items (energy, health) and this also costs ur elite.
- Suggestion
- turn it into an elite version of Protective Was Kaolai.
Elite Item Spell. Hold Xinrae's ashes for up to 15...51...60 seconds. While you hold her ashes, you cannot lose more than 10% of your max Health from a single hit. When you drop her ashes, all party members are healed for 10...70...85 Health.
- put it back in communing and make it heal spirits since their health is pretty low.
Elite Item Spell. Hold Xinrae's ashes for up to 15...51...60 seconds. While you hold her ashes, spirits within earshot cannot lose more than 10% max Health from a single hit. When you drop her ashes, all allies spirits are healed for 10...146...180 Health.
- change it back to the way it was since it's far more useless now.
Elite Item Spell. Hold Xinrae's ashes for up to 5...13...15 seconds. While you hold her ashes, enemy Spells that the caster and the caster's allies use against you are disabled for an additional 5...17...20 seconds.

- 20% are nothing if you have about 500hp.
- To steal 50hp doesn't help anyone.
- Suggestion
- Move it to Spawning Power, so it will be a real Ritu-elite.
- Like the name "Defiant..." sais it could become a ashes for defending the Ritualist.

- Elite Item Spell. Hold Xinrae's ashes for up to 15...27...30 seconds. While you hold her ashes, you cannot lose more than 10% of your max Health from a single hit and you cannot be knocked down.
10 2 25 Elite Item Spell. Hold Xinrae's ashes for up to 15...27...30 seconds. While you hold her ashes, you cannot lose more than 10% of your max Health from a single hit. When you drop her ashes, all hostile Spells that target you fail and all attacks against you miss for 0...2...3

- 20% is too weak.
- Anything lower than 20% might be too strong.
- Suggestion
- I'd like to have this steal energy when taking damage, this would make a great energy management and drain foes of their energy (even casters). I think something like 1...4...5 energy stealing will do the trick.
- Keep the life steal drop effect, maybe even increase the range.
