Double-click to drink. Excessive alcohol consumption will result in intoxication.— in-game description
Bottle of Grog is an alcoholic drink. When consumed it will go towards attaining the Drunkard title. The phrases for this alcohol differ from those of others.
Acquisition[edit]
Random drop from PvE foes during Pirate Week and Seventh Year Anniversary Celebration.
Notes[edit]
- Grog is the only alcohol with an effect that allows you to determine whether you are drunk or not. This makes it easier to time the use of the three skills that benefit from drunkenness: Drunken Master, Dwarven Stability, and Feel No Pain.
Trivia[edit]
- Grog was a type of alcoholic beverage introduced by British Vice Admiral Edward Vernon. Contrary to popular belief, Grog was rationed commonly to sailors after the end of the Golden Age of Piracy.
- September 19th is International Talk Like a Pirate Day, and this item's random drop is designed to coincide with that celebration.
- The Bottle of Grog icon resembles a tankard rather than a bottle.
