Adrenaline[edit]
From the PvE side it thing this might be fine, I admit I'm not an expert on PvE. However from the PvP side of things there have been some issues with adrenaline and the use of adrenaline skills in combination with fast attacking (and thus charging of adrenaline) professions like the Assassin. This has led to some Nerf's involving Backbreaker and "Coward!" in PvP. Now it's true that this made it impossible in the case of Backbreaker and more difficult in the case of "Coward!" for Assassins to take the skill, however this did not solve the problem in the case of Backbreaker which just got swapped to warriors with dagger attack skills. And made it more difficult for Warriors to take "Coward!" and Backbreaker as well.
Suggestion[edit]
What I suggest is that in stead of putting Nerf's on every single build that pops up abusing some form of adrenaline charging, we change the mechanic of adrenaline in itself. I suggest we do this by:
- Changing Adrenaline so that it does not charge when you use Energy Attack Skills.
With such a change to Adrenaline A lot of Gimmick builds will fall to pieces as the only efficient way to charge Adrenaline would be to use multiple Adrenaline skills, or use skills that have an adrenaline charging effect. If this change would go trough there would need to be some compensation to Warriors & Paragons who have lost some of their effectiveness compared to other professions. I suggest to do this by:
- Change some skills to give X hits of adrenaline
- Change some skills to give 1 hit of adrenaline for each energy-based attack skill used in a XX amount of time.
- Change some skills to give XX% adrenaline for each adrenaline skill used.

Warrior[edit]
¼ 45 Signet. Your next 1...13...16 attack skill[s] give you 1 strike of adrenaline and deal +1...4...5 damage.
1 7 Elite Stance. For 1...7...8 second[s], you run 33% faster. Charging Strike ends when you successfully strike with an attack skill, at which point you gain 0...2...3 strike[s] of adrenaline and deal +1...15...18 damage.
5 20 Elite Stance. For 5...10...11 seconds, if you are wielding a hammer, you attack 33% faster, you gain 20% more adrenaline, you gain +40 armor, and your attack skills interrupt foes when they hit.
5 30 Elite Skill. For 5...29...35 seconds, you gain 3 Energy and 1 strike of adrenaline each time you hit with a melee attack. Warrior's Endurance cannot raise your Energy above 10...22...25.
Paragon[edit]
25 2 20 Echo. For 5...21...25 seconds, you attack 25% faster and have -20 armor. You gain 15% more adrenaline if under the effects of a shout or chant. This echo is reapplied every time a chant or shout ends on you.
5 1 5 Elite Echo. For 10...30...35 seconds, you attack 33% faster and have -20 armor. You gain 33% more adrenaline if under the effects of a shout or chant. This echo is reapplied every time a chant or shout ends on you.
10 60 Elite Skill. For 45 seconds, you gain 0...80...100% more adrenaline and an additional 0...80...100% adrenaline when you use an adrenaline attack skill.
