Why interrupt a PvP weekend event (AB) with an update for an event that doesn't even start this week? Couldn't they have applied this update yesterday on Thursday (like they do for most updates) or waited until Monday? --108.162.183.75 00:26, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

We're saying that the update told people to restart their client while many, including myself, were trying to play AB. You're right in that it's not a big deal: however, it would have made more sense to do it after the weekend. DuncanDryear 00:16, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

As noted on Player versus Player#Notes, you cannot enter a PvP match until you restart your game client to get the update. It's a hassle if you had been waiting several minutes on the timer to enter an AB match and then this Canthan New Year update causes you to have to restart your client, get a team together again and have to spend more time waiting to enter a match. --108.162.183.75 01:43, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
