Maybe the NPC buying/selling interface could be changed completely. Instead of buying/selling an individual item each time, items are dragged (or even double-clicked) into a window -- much like with trading -- where the player can view the items being bought/sold before confirmation. --Arngrim 20:09, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
- Ah thats a good idea! And you could put items you want into a section and items you're selling into the other and it calculates the total buying and total selling to show you if you will make money, or loose it and by how much, and whether or not you will be able to afford it etc. Thanks for the input :) Chibot2000 23:12, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
- Buy back yes, sell back no. MadSkillz1o1 12:03, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
- I know a few games which implement a buyback system as long as you remain in the transaction (ie don't leave the merchant) and it works fairly well. A good idea. Shadow Runner 12:11, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
- I like this idea. I've accidentally bought an elite armor piece when I didn't mean to and was out 15k because of it. My own stupidity? Possibly, but I shouldn't be punished for it.--Ravencroft0 08:13, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah the sell back would obviously be like as long as you havn't used/equiped/stored it or logged out or closed the window. It's always annoying buying two of the same item by accident xD Chibot2000 22:24, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
- I agree with this. Many other games implement this successfully. Accidents happen, don't punish us for it. Nay the One and Only 09:44, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
- The Idea is sound, buyback would definitely be welcome in my book (I HATE selling an item I don't mean to...), and possibly even the sell back. Make the merchants shop box be a large pane, divided in half with the shop on one side, your "Shopping Cart" on the other. Drag items to the cart from the shop to "Purchase" them, then when your satisfied with your selection, accept the sale and pay for your goods. This clears the cart, but keeps the shop menu open. Having it dynamically calculate the cost with your current cash, and prevent the sale should you be short (but still keep the cart menu open so you can modify your selection). For a selling, it would work the same way, only opposite. Buyback and sellback could be a separate tab of the shop, displaying all items you sold to and bought from the merchant during that current shop trade (if you close the merchants shop menu, your out of luck) and allow you to reverse the transaction.--Neithan Diniem 06:39, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
- Sounds like the Fallout 3 buying and selling? :) Chibot2000 21:41, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Really good idea, I support this![edit]
Really good idea, I support this!
p.s. I'm new to this so apologies if I did the reply wrong :( Why can't it be like a normal forum, it's so counter intuitive. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bradkay aus (talk) at 11:51, 12 May 2010 (UTC).
- Because this place isn't supposed to be a forum. - J.P.Talk 12:04, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
- This is an awesome idea. If this is encorporated, I beg you areanet/ncsoft, PLEASE do not solve this with an "are you sure" box, because people just skip them and go ahead, and this can be very annoying.--Bold Baby Undies 18:43, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
