Would be too powerful. With +20% enchantments its already a +~3.8 second bonus. combined with glyph of swiftness it effectively makes you immune to attacks. Also it is a fire&forget spell, does not promote skillful active playing and it would hurt pvp play heavily. It would be useless in pve. --Boro 10px‎ 09:17, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

It's non-self targeting, single target and ends if they attack or deal damage. Those are some important set-backs if you ask me. Also, it's not like you can't just remove it if it's a problem, since spells can still be used on the target. Perhaps the duration should be a bit shorter, since enchantments can have their duration lengthened very easily, unlike hexes. However, it can't just be spammed on a target, since unless they notice it and stop attacking/casting damage spells it will go away much faster. It requires that the user pays attention to what their ally is doing and makes sure to use it on a target that isn't going to cause it to be removed right away. --Curse YouCurse You(talk|contribs) 21:37, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
For skills that end so easily, they need a shorter recharge. Like a Protection Prayers version of Restful Breeze. The only problem would be runners using it, but Shadow Form is way better anyways. lol. -~=Sparky User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (talk) 22:38, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
2 monks maintaining this on the other = lame Talamare 22:40, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

If it grants monks extended invincibility, it is bad for the game. Bad balancing is bad. It's the same as aegis, aegis grants the entire party immense pressure relief that it had to be sbooned. Aegis can be removed by enchantment removal, but enchantment removals didn't stop aegis from being a staple on pretty much any 8v8 team configuration. Pika Fan 22:45, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

That's why it needs to end on attacking or using a skill, with a shorter recharge, duration, and lower energy cost. At least it would be (slighty) better than before? -~=Sparky User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (talk) 22:52, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Pacifism Pacifism - 5 Energy¾ Activation time25 Recharge time Enchantment spell. For 2...7...8 seconds, attacks against target other ally fail. Pacifism ends if that ally attacks or use a skill. --Cursed Angel Q.Q 23:57, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

After considering how likely my version would be used on runners, I've decided that, like your suggested alterations, a shorter duration would be more balanced. --Curse YouCurse You(talk|contribs) 07:20, 14 September 2009 (UTC)

I made a similar suggestion on your amity page, how about this for pacifism - Pacifism Pacifism - 5 Energy1 Activation time12 Recharge time spell. Target ally loses 0...1...1 conditions and hexes. Talamare 04:01, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

The problem with that is it has nothing to do with Pacifism. Such a change could easily be done to any other underpowered monk skill, and trust me, there are plenty of those. --Curse YouCurse You(talk|contribs) 05:22, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Peace and Harmony has to do with Pacifism, either way I made a suggestion myself for it Talamare 05:39, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
'Peace and Harmony' could easily just refer to 'peace and harmony of body and soul' type stuff as opposed to actual peace. Pacifism on the other hand, is a clearly defined idea of preventing violence with no other possible meaning. --Curse YouCurse You(talk|contribs) 21:48, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
