Feedback talk:User/FloppyJoe/Finish the Deldrimor armor
Linsey's response to that would be here ♥ Ariyen ♀ 22:27, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. I read it, but still I can suggest. I also read her FAQ that said it takes around a year to make a cycle of armor. If someone already put that much time into it, might as well go the rest of the way. Even though it wasn't meant to be a full set, a lot of people would like to see it finished. Still, it's just a suggestion. FloppyJoe 02:55, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- If it hasn't been finished by now. I doubt it will be. They had intended as it was. I don't think there will be anything more to it. I'm with you in that I wish they'd finish it, but it's one of those things that I don't think they'll do. I think they did what they intended and left it as that. I can see with this why it's not HoM. If they intended it to blend with other armor, then some people may have only gotten pieces of it. It's possibly due to the 'blending' as to one of the many reasons as to why it's not in the HoM nor will it be. There's plenty of other Elite Armor that can be placed in there though. ♥ Ariyen ♀ 06:44, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
I agree: it is my only elite armor for the moment and I unfortunately can't add it to my HoM. it's a shame as I have a female Assassin, and my armor is complete! Moreover it is much more beautiful than some others. If you take the example of the Asura one, it seems to a Goldorak armor… I also want to say that some armors can be exposed in the HoM without being avilable to all the professions. So why is it not the case for this one? Why being so crual with Assassins? Agaetis Ros 09:33, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- I have a paragon female which I purchased Deldrimor armor for. It is the best looking outfit for girl paragons, by far. I'll probably end up buying all my characters prestige armor so they can all have some in the HoM. What is probably going to happen is, when we get to Guild Wars 2, there will be better armor than our "prestige" armor, and our armor will be useless anyway. If you think about it, they are going to be raising the level cap, and our armor is for level 20 characters, so I wouldn't doubt it. haha Oh well. FloppyJoe 14:21, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- It is a GW 1 suggestion. I don't see the point with GW 2. You will not use your objects and gold in GW 2. Agaetis Ros 11:06, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
- I assume you can use your prestige armor in Guild Wars 2, since it can be placed in the Hall of Monuments. I went ahead and bought the Ancient prestige armor for my Paragon, since it looks very similar to the Deldrimor armor. If they finished the Deldrimor set, I'd go re-purchase it haha. The deldrimor armor was designed to be 'pieces' to begin with, as an experiment to see if players would adopt them and place them on existing armor sets. Unfortunately the experiment didn't pan out; players did not wear the pieces as intended and instead attempted to make whole armor sets out of the mismatched pieces. The result was ugly... players prancing around in mismatched armor sets. The concept was quietly swept under the rug and never brought up again. Kimmes, the keeper of the HOM, vowed never to allow such blasphemous armor to grace the presence of those walls, and ordered Thackery to immediately attack anyone so dressed upon entering, though a fixation on Gwen has made him a bit lax in this and other duties.
