Feedback talk:User/Koda Kumi/Remove titles from the game
Please respond with "ur just yelloos of mah l33t titlez nuub", "fame is how HA works learn to deal with it" and other flames below the line so I can easily remove them. Koda Kumi 10:59, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
I wouldn't agree in getting rid of titles i would just prefer if they were not so much of a grind fest, example lucky title, grind is ofc a good way of keeping ppl playing along time but its a very lazy and not fun way.
I much prefer how titles on games like Oblivion work, the further you progress through a story or factions quest line the higher your rank goes, not just the more times you kill the same things over and over.Dinsy 22:53, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
Hey[edit]
As a matter of me being bored, I thought there were five or six with dragons, besides the obvious chamalee, sc, and leeloof? Discuss. -- Tha Reckoning 06:22, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- Also, imo titles should be like achievements for 360, like "Cry Baby. Kill three people with one Cry of Frustration.", you know, stuff that's really hard to do but so fucking amazing that it rapes your brain right out of your skull. -- Tha Reckoning 06:25, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- I only heard that from Yasmin. Sue her :P Koda Kumi 15:24, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, I've got her number, we're going to have a talk very soon... /evil laugh -- Tha Reckoning 16:37, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- For those "360 titles", Getting a title such as "Cry Baby" would be like boosting in a 1v1 cage match on mw2. just like, 2 people: 1 requesting to boost, the other doing whatever they are cool with. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Eclipse143 (talk).
- If it's that important to you that you need to gather three of the morons that inhabit GW pvp and ask them to all get killed by your cry, more power to you. It's a better change than the grindy titles that we have now. -- Tha Reckoning 06:25, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

No on the Ebon Vang Rank and Suns. Rank[edit]
Its called PvE for something. In PvE, you are facing emotionless computers. They wont flame or scream at you over Vent or on the Chat Logs, you can report them for spamming, they are there for the entertainment. Like smex toy, they are innanimate and only provide pleasure. Who really gives a crap if you are OverPowering npcs? If you feel that one character is better than your own, focus on a character that will mimic the one you are trying to be. Besides, If you think Ebon Vang. Rank skills are sooo OP, then why dont you get the skills for yourself? They can be acquired and used on any profession. And if you dont have the Expansion for it, quit complaining, its not our fault you dont have it. If you can access those maps because of your graphics card, quit complaining. Thats not our fault either. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Eclipse143 (talk).
- " I want pve to be easy and not challenging because life is so hard please let me keep my pve skills because playing with two hands is so difficult I don't think I can do it QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ!1!11!11!" This is engaging, go on. -- Tha Reckoning 06:04, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- What Reckoning is trying to say is that PvE is hilariously bad because everyone can just use pve shit to roll through HM without any challenge. And before you are going to say I should not use those skills (as you are already thinking my graphics card cannot handle EotN, which is quite funny in its own right), this is an ONLINE game. You know, where, if you want to do something like DoA or FoW HM, you have team up with dumbasses who WILL use that kind of shit. Koda Kumi 11:16, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- I didn't say that I assume your graphics card is inadequate, I stated an "If" in that statement. And your first suggestion was to make things easier and less hard/grind-full am I correct? Now your telling me that you want the challenge and the hard work to obtain something. Well, you need to go through hard work to obtain Zaishen Titles, and Hero Ranks. Eventually, Arenanet will nerf farming up to the point where it is just way to hard, and people like you will go on and plead for changes that will cancel out what they wanted in the past.
- Grinding is hard? Please, go on. You are funny. While you are at it, explain to me why Palm Strike is a balanced skill. Koda Kumi 19:18, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- Palm Strike isn't balanced, its an elite skill, a touch skill, and it only cripples. By the time the assassin shadow steps to target foe, target foe can just run and avoid being Palm Striked

Y E S ![edit]
I couldn't care about any reasoning as to why they should go, I would simply love to be able to click on the bloody Xunlai Chest without a huge pile of self-absorbed chat trolls with massive title boxes obscuring it. Ditto for the Yeti and Golem wearing "look at meee! I iz so l33Tz cuz I ken buy tonix!" (and then stand around like a degenerate insulting anybody who happens to say something) sort. You know who you are...the fool that spent all their coin and wants to get the longest possible "floor time" for the "I'm cool" show (I know, because I likely sold you some of those tonics and can verify that you paid much more than you're making trolling). I would really like to have someone explain how running a bot for 100000 game hours with a wobbly screen, 1 week a year for 3 years AFK at the dragon festival, or just as long death-leveling is anything to be proud of? Face it, titles are ridiculous, and do nothing to provide a quality gaming experience. There should be at the very least, an option to turn off the display of titles, (possibly even add a new rank to the "big deal" title track..."L O S E R" or "I HAZ NO LIFE" would be a great final achievement). I can see the titles for Factions/NF/GWEN being useful in the scaling for those PvE skills, but most of them are completely useless and do nothing but promote farming, botting, and typically juvenile behavior that belongs in RS, EQ or WoW... do we really need to have them displayed? And to top it all off, those titles will carry over to GW2...not the best way to sell me on a game, sorry. Gwynna Vive 22:00, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
Get real[edit]
This suggestion is so implausible that it shouldn't even be considered a legitimate suggestion. ~Shard 22:01, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- Give me a reason why the game would not be better without titles as they are now. Koda Kumi 22:15, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- I didn't mean it's something they shouldn't do, I meant they wil never ever do this. Why even post an idea like this? It's just as bad as posting a suggestion reading "remove monks from the game." ~Shard 07:18, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
