Feedback talk:User/Life Infusion/Mesmer damage skills
Fixing WD/WW and Ineptitude requires more than just number fixes. The Wastrel's skills are currently useless except as cover hexes for punishment skills. That is a design error. No skill should be only useful as a cover hex, it just limits the amount of options to counter builds using them.
Ineptitude is, as someone said, a 270 damage + blind skill against balanced teams, and does little against gimmicks. It makes no sense at all. Koda Kumi 16:45, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- If by useless you mean disgustingly overpowered, then yes. elix Omni 16:49, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
Ruin the weak, maintain the strong. Bad balance, but you'll likely get a lot of positive response here since most of the commenters here are PvP players and they're fine with imbalance in PvE. Don't like damage? Change PvE or suggest more ele changes. Again and again you made flawed comparisons, especially your ones on GWG (comparing ele henchman to human mesmers). Balanced groups would use Frenzy if there's Protective Bond, otherwise someone would likely ask them to stop using it. Cuilan 19:45, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
Hmn I don't see your point. Other classes like knockdown assassins, hammer wars deal a lot more damage then a mesmer could do in his RA lifetime... I think it's "balanced" as it is, if you compare it with damage of other classes... --Kali Shin Shivara 03:36, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- There's a lot more shutdown for melee: blind, snares, kiting, miss hexes, aegis, defensive anthem, among other things. Melee has always dealt more damage, but it requires hitting. And the post was not talking about RA. --Life Infusion «T» 19:48, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
The Wastrel's spam does need to go. WW WD <random interrupt> /repeat /repeat /repeat. Isn't it enough to shut down targets, you don't need to be doing OMGWTF damage at the same time. But the developers don't think so I guess. Also it feels kinda cheap to use it on minions. What do they have to worry about!? They're mindless minions, and that's what spiritual pain is for.
