they indeed have a very low salvage rate

I also noticed that Jade and Amber salvages about as rarely as gems on items like Jeweled Daggers, if not even less often. I salvaged about thirty Jade and Amber weapons recently and dust and wood was the only material acquired this way. I'd also prefer to see them getting salvaged about as often as "regular rare materials" salvaged from most armor piece salvage items. But this again would lower their value, and i'm not quite sure if that's what Anet wanted when they raised their cost to 5k faction. —ZerphaThe Improver 18:05, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
