Great idea! --Musha 02:49, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- Very good Idea imo, just got around to thinking that myself while on my minipet mule today. I do think it would be a great idea to save space, while not adding to banks or player inventory, but I dont think necessarily it would be easier on the server. Great Idea, I hope they take a look into it!--Neithan Diniem 06:02, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
- Well, by using less space on the server (not like I have any idea about how they store information, but anyway) I'm just trying to make some educated guesses. Basically, this whole idea goes in the spirit of the equipment pack, which is more specialized than a regular storage slot, and ANet designed it that way for a reason - items stored in the pack take up less digital space than items stored in regular storage spaces. These mini nests would be even more specialized than the equipment pack, so they should provide even more of the benefit that ANet was after when designing the equipment packs the way they did, instead of just giving us more bags. - I do like the idea of being able to store many minipets in only ONE inventory space, but I still think my idea would work more efficiently for both players and server space. --Musha 18:23, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- I can't quote where, but a dev has said that they will not do anything that "duplicates" minis in any way, and I agree with that. Comparing this to the hat NPC does not work, because costumes and holiday hats cannot ever be traded, but minis are a tradable resource. With your idea one of two things will happen: either the "original" mini that was shown can be traded away, essentially duplicating it, or it will have to be customized or destroyed to prevent duplication, thus removing it from player circulation forever. Both are bad, imo. Rose Of Kali 13:38, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
