Cool idea. Carried out right, it could be a great asset to the game! Weindrasi 01:07, 20 August 2011 (UTC)Weindrasi
- I would hope. Seems like it would be a cheap fix too. And the tiny print to read on most loading screens (like game hints or story) could still be placed at the bottom. Wazwolf 22:56, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
- No to "energy beaming/flying". Waypoints are a game mechanic, not actual in world teleportation like Asuran Gates are.--Will Greyhawk 07:40, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
- Instead of creating a hidden loading screen to increase immersion, you'd rather have the world suddenly show you a picture of a house instead? To each their own I guess. Also, Waypoints are not just a mechanic. They are a part of the world. Otherwise, it would simply be spots on the map like Guild Wars 1. I suggest reading http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Waypoint because it explains how mobs can take them over and how they cost money to use. 24.196.88.216 03:09, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
classic loading animation - Ander01 21:46, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
- That is a perfect example lol. Albeit a dated one. With the abilities of today, an in-game solution to loading screens could hide the screen as a part of the world. Just like walking through a door. Great job Ander. Wazwolf 00:51, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
