Checklist location[edit]
I'd prefer it if we put the checklists on the subproject talk pages, so that it's easier to see a summary of half-completed areas. -- Gordon Ecker 22:54, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
sure, much better idea --Primeval Talk 23:45, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
like this? --Primeval Talk 23:51, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah. -- Gordon Ecker 00:15, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- I've added a separate column for hard mode levels, so that the NPCs, foes and bosses bosses can be checked off once they have everything except the hard mode levels. -- Gordon Ecker 00:43, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Ingame?[edit]
Wondering why you have a "In-Game Description " column on this project? Semms..unlikely to ever be done. Backsword 12:39, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Rave is using Rebirth![edit]
I'm thinking of resurrecting this project. The status of a lot of the pages can probably be updated as there has been a lot of contributions since its been updated. The main thing I've noticed that made me take a look at this project is a lot of the pages have different formatting (heading levels) for the NPCs, foes, etc, etc and I think it would be nice to clean them up and conform them with the GWW:LOCATION guidelines, which have been accepted since the last update of this project. I will make these adjustments along with adding the missing requirements as I go. I've never been a contributor to a project before so if there are any issues with the adjustments I'm making give me a shout.- TheRave (talk) 21:21, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- I thought of that once too but if you really want to revive this, I would suggest changing it to include all locations. I've mostly cleared the Nightfall areas (excluding the latest set of guidelines changes recently discussed), and Bart M has been working on the Factions areas. So starting from the Prophecies areas would be good. The landmarks have mostly been ignored as well, since the middle sections for landmarks doesn't seem to be consistent. -- ab.er.rant 02:19, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
When you say all locations...?[edit]
Do you mean Outposts, Towns and Cities as well as Explorable areas? If so, should there be some way to mark the different kinds of locations? mtew 20:21, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
- This is an old project that's barely updated. Definitely feel free to take over and restructure as needed :) -- ab.er.rant 00:07, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
Travel paths which open up when certain criteria are met[edit]
I think we should document travel paths which open up when certain criteria are met (such as the numerous gates between zones in Factions which open up as quests and missions are completed) in a central location, however I can't think of any concise page title. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 02:13, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- List of quest-based doors? ~Shard 02:21, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- Many are opened by completing missions. Maybe something along the lines of "guide to path unlocking" or "list of unlockable paths", possibly split by campaign. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 02:26, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- Maybe add a "Path Unlocked" section on the corresponding quest/mission article? -- Wandering Traveler 02:27, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- "Zone Entrances" instead of "Paths" IMO so List of Unlockable Zone Entrances? (or guide to) ~Shard 02:28, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- Zone works better, definitely, I don't think this warrents a seperate article; even a category for these may be pushing it. I think just something noting it in the main quest article would be sufficent enough. -- Wandering Traveler 02:40, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- They don't all lead to other zones, Sunjiang District explorable area has gates which seal off the southwestern section. Maybe some of the region articles could have sections on opening up paths, or general sections on zone connections and unlockable paths. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 03:02, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- Region articles sound fine, but in some cases we'd have to probably mention the quest that requires said unlocking. If I'm thinking what you're thinking, then it sounds fine to me, at least. -- Wandering Traveler 03:09, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- "Gates and what opens them" might be good, but 'gates' would a terminology entry if there isn't one already. mtew 04:54, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- A gate article already exists, it currently covers PvP gates, but it could be expanded. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 05:37, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
