Many inscription names appear to be references pulled from across popular culture--popular quotes and sayings, books, music, plays, television, and film.

Seize the Day | Latin | Translation of the Latin phrase "Carpe Diem." Also a song by Avenged Sevenfold by the same name, or may be a reference to a favourite quote of Robert Keating in Dead Poets Society movie. Also a quote from the old man who gets his marbles back at the end of "Hook". |
