• The Snow Crystal Crest was first awarded during the Wintersday 2009 and Wintersday 2009 Redux finales in Lion's Arch and Kamadan districts where the Avatar of Dwayna gained more supporters than the Avatar of Grenth. For several days after the finales, it could also be obtained in exchange for 125 Candy Cane Shards from the Wintersday Hat Giver.
