Well I just don't want anybody to search for Aion wings and then find a "Warning: You are recreating a page that was previously deleted." -- and I see no harm in redirecting it, atleast this way people will be able to find what they are searching for C4K3 Talk 09:47, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

And that's fine, I agree that a redirect is better than a deletion, but I think we should decide if we would rather flesh out the article rather than simply redirect it to the emote page. Actiually I have screenshots right here, if you would give me a chance to upload them :p. I've already added my wings on my account and everything works fine.. Updated Page

I updated the page, it's got more useful information now (less the possible spelling mistakes, I'm bad like that). Since the wings are now active in Guild Wars I've seen many people ask about them, after people have flashed them without being forth-coming with information and directed players here via the /wiki command in the chat window instead of trying to explain for them to go to the NCSoft website or Guild Wars website. ~~000.00.00.00~~ 08:25, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Tonics

I got the Aion emote today, and i used while i ran around as a black moa chick. It seems that the emote size adjusts to the size the character is, as the wings were very small. SO i started experimenting it, in a golem, the wings are almost hidden inside the golem, as a Rift Warden, they're fine, just a little bit bigger ,as a Rift Warden is bigger. And they are also fine as an Ooze. Maybe we should note this somewhere on the page? I can upload screenshots of needed. Dr.Ted 19:17, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

I was wondering if a gallery with characters under tonic influence + aion wings could be made. A similar thing to the Squash Serum page. Also, from what I can say for now is that: 1: Under cottontail tonic the wings go through the ground when the bunny is sitting upright / 2: Under "swarm of bees form", the emote is invisible but the forced-delay message confirms that the emote was used. And yes, the wings are scaled and even tilted according to the form you're in, example, Abyssal. Markus Clouser 23:04, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

Time Delay

I also found out that you have to wait some time the use the emote when you've just used it. It sais`: "You used that command too recently. Please try again later". Should be noted on here to, i can post screenshots of this if needed, just tell me how. Dr.Ted 19:17, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Elyos Wings

The picture on the page shows a pair of what look like Asmodian wings and the clip on the GW site shows similar wings too. So, I was wandering, are they the only wings or is there a pair of Elyos Wings too? Titan Crow 22:14 23 september 2009 (UTC)

Elyos Wings exist but for some reason we can't use them. Youtube user jeruzero posted a video on April 27, 2010 showing a "Client Emote Hack" in action; at 1:00 he starts spamming the usual Aion wings (Asmodian) and also the white ones (Elyos). It can also be the same /aion emote with another texture made by some player but I doubt this is the case. Another edit here, just tested and /aion2 and /wings2 don't display Unknown Command. - /aion3..etc display the mentioned error message. Markus Clouser 19:51, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Hmm, what would the box look like if it was more of a purple colour, rather than blue, because the Aion wings are significantly more purple? Sounds like a good idea. Not 100% if it's possible/how it would work (but if it is, I would be interested in learning about it), perhaps when making the template, make it have a parameter where you can choose 1, 2 or 3. Use {{Aion Wings|1}}, {{Aion Wings|2}} or {{Aion Wings|3}} for whatever one you want. 1 is white, 2 is purple and 3 is black. ---RI--- Woh, its definately come a long way since my first suggested uesrbox. You guys have done some pretty cool thing with the images but personally, I think what Wyn did with Kiasha's is my favourite. When I initaily made it, I went for blue as it was a Monk skill icon that I used but I think that purple goes a lot better with Kiasha's image. Also, Wyn's is the size of a regular userbox and I think all userboxes should be the same size. I like lacky's three userboxes a lot too but I prefer userboxes with GW icons. Its kind of a chalange to find an icon that suits what the userbox says.

Hi,

I wanted to provide a bit of clarification on the edit I just made: we've received questions from players about these wings and the information provided on the page is legacy, as it is no longer possible to get those wings with the 4 methods that are listed. I hope that this works for everyone.
