Talk:Berserker Stance
Lame[edit]
It's just a lame skill...JORLZ36181 01:02, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
sadly, I've gotta agree. this skill needs a buff to be more useful than Tiger Stance, imo. After doing the math, this skill will only give you the adrenaline for Eviscerate 1.78 secs faster than Tiger Stance, which isn't very significant considering that you'll lose your IAS when you use your skills (meaning no IAS for your attack skills) Deathwind 01:33, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Some synergy with Decapitate maybe? HareeMuh
Think Hammer. IAS alone isn't enough to bring a hammer warrior up to speed the adrenaline boost of this skill is invaluable. And how often is it that you get in a situation nowadays where the enemy or an ally of the enemy isn’t using some sort of block buff, Tiger stance while it is indeed a good skill kind of cripples itself in practicality. Now I wouldn't mind seeing this skill gets buffed especially if they can do so w/o limiting its effectiveness at what it meant to do (Dual purpose Primary Adrenaline Boost/ secondary IAS) but if they leave it be I doubt many could launch a valid argument against it. Especially sine they aren't making new GWs to add new skills to the mix unless some other skills get a serious reworking (which isn’t unlikely) there would be no point in modernizing this skill. 68.26.244.221 18:10, 19 November 2008 (UTC)Auron Bushi
Only use I've found is with Hundred Blades PVE. Hundred Blades -> Beserker (charge adrenaline and be doing decent AE damage if there are 3+ targets) As its winding down, you have skills like Whirlwind Attack and Sun and Moon Slash charged at the end of it for a decent spike before hundred blades wears off. Of course, I only use Hundred Blades when I'm going to be paired with a Mark of Pain / Barbs Curse Necro. Pretty limited, but can be effective in PvE since mobs tend to cluster. Of course there are OTHER IAS and adrenal boost options too. 69.24.179.187 07:05, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Seriously, whats the point in having the adrenal gain if it's only to power up one skill? And at double gain it happens well within the stance's time limit. Then there's the long CD. If the CD were 8 or 10 seconds it might make more sense but still wouldn't be that useful for a full slot. It should give you movement bonus instead of double adrenal, this would make it shy of a 5 energy Battle rage (elite), and take on the meaning of Berserker better.--98.232.36.96 23:10, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

Notes[edit]
Anyone think that we should add a note that mentions that you have a effective 200% adrenaline gain rate, well actually it's 199.5 but close enough. Weaponmaster 21:06, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
Affects ALL adren gain?[edit]
Does this affect the gain from skills like "To the Limit!"? 72.222.217.198 00:27, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
- Because it ends when you use a skill, I'm guessing the answer is "no". Vili 点 00:28, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, new question. Ally casts Dark Fury. You activate Berserker Stance. Is the adrenaline gain from Dark Fury affected? 72.222.217.198 23:40, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

would make more sense..[edit]
if this skill ended if you used a non attack skill. in its current form, the only use it has is at the beginning of a fight, even then something like enraging charge is way better. any warrior that relies on this solely for its ias to do dmg and for adren gain is weaksauce. the only warriors using this would probably hammer warriors, even then there are better things a hammer warrior could be doing. i think it would see more use if it ended when a non attack skill is used. i know for a fact that sword warriors DEFINITELY WOULDN'T use such a thing. and for the record, yes i know it would have to be tweaked some like lowering the adren gain--96.237.116.43 05:13, 18 August 2010 (UTC) <-- sorry that was me--Arrythmia (talk · contributions) 05:16, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
- Well now that enraged got the nerfbat this is the new "charge up your attacks before bashing people's skulls in skill." 76.164.126.8 02:36, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
