different species[edit]

i went through the mission with the 3 non human heroes from the GW:EN preview and i found that their body shapes were turned into human shapes, is this a graphical bug that hasnt been adressed for? Hime-chan 14:43, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

It seems Jora turns male though Oo

I'm doing the mission right now, and neither Ogden nor Vekk turned into corsairs. I can assume this has been fixed but I need confirmation for Pyre Fierceshot and Jora. Kailden Jera 13:19, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

Dwarven Skills[edit]

If you get the drunk effect screen will dwarven skills activate the bonus effect you get when drunk? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 79.64.18.15 (talk).

There are two Dwarven skills and one Norn skill, that have special conditions while drunk. I tested the Norn skill "Feel No Pain" in this mission, and no it does not work. FloppyJoe 04:00, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

slower skill activation in corsair disguise?[edit]

i don´t know if it is true but for me it seems as if the skills activate slower when i am in corsair disguise in this mission can someone confirm that or am i wrong?

7/4 party[edit]

After skipping the movie at the end of this quest, I ended up with a 7 person party in Sunspear Great Hall (Timera the hench had to leave because she doesn't exist in that outpost); has this happened to anyone else before? Seems pretty random Ezi 03:31, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

It's a common event. It's been said this was done so that full human parties weren't forcefully split after completing the mission.--Pyron Sy 03:33, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Explorable Area / Vanquishing[edit]

Anyone else think it's weird that this is one of the only explorable areas not available /needed for the vanquisher title? All other areas where missions also take place are explorable areas and able to be vanquished..... Magua 22:56, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Explorable areas don't show up with the red 'vanquishable' symbol (probably the name as well, if I recall right. Can't check as I'm on my Legendary Vanquisher in the middle of this mish in HM :P) before you enter them for the first time :) Might have been what was going on there for you. Funny business...[edit]

Two things: 1) You can stand next to the corsairs and kournans and spam-ctrl-click your disguise to yell "I AM DISGUISED AS A CORSAIR!" a million times, and they won't notice it. 2) You can take an alternate route to the skal stampede and kill them before you are supposed to get there with Besuz. The 8 person Sunspear Greathall bug has been fixed :/

First of all it isn't a bug, it's listed in the article as an anomaly, see ArenaNet talk:Miscellaneous bugs#Party size too large and User talk:Joe Kimmes/Archive August 2009#Party Size in Kamadan and Plains of Jarin. Kind of odd that it would be changed, when ArenaNet employees have stated that mechanic was going to remain unchanged. Who did you have in your party? --Silver Edge 07:30, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
This is not a bug, you can count this as a kind of special behaviour. I have done this mission yesterday in HM with 3 heroes and henchmen: Kihm, Herta, Gehraz, Sogolon. After the mision we arrived to Sunspear Great Hall with party of 8 and then I decided to vanquish the Plains of Jarin, which has been done in about 30 min. --Slavic 11:37, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
Just did the mission in HM with 7 heroes and when returned to the Sunspear Great Hall I only had 3 heroes. Sardaukar User Sardaukar sig.png 16:00, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
Me too; this bug/mechanic seems to have been fixed. Shame.
It probably doesn't work because the party consists of you and 7 heroes. If it consists of you, 3 heroes, and the 4 henchmen (Kihm, Herta, Sogolon, and Gehraz), it should still work. I tested it with Dockmaster Dimedeh and got to Kamadan from Dajkah Inlet with a party of 3 heroes and the 4 henchemen, so it's most likely limited to 3 heroes per player. --Silver Edge 05:49, 21 March 2011 (UTC)

Why are the Hench level 12 here?[edit]

In order to complete the primary quests before Blacktide Den, you MUST travel through Kodlonu Hamlet to get to Mehtani Keys for Big News, Small Package. Henchmen are level 15 in Kodlunu Hamlet. You eventually proceed to Blacktide Den where the hench have deleveled to 12 for some reason. Obviously, continuity is not a large issue in a game where you can travel back and forth through time. It's just that within the context of the established continuity, this makes no sense. MA Anathe 18:55, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Edit: Nevermind, answered that myself, more or less. You can access Blacktide Den earlier than the story calls for it. It's still ... odd. I realize that this happens in many places, especially major cities like Kamadan. However, I'd thought Blacktide Den was a sealed map until the mission. Go figure. yeah, they're both unlocked at the same time, but the mission arc takes you south-east into the keys, and after having to power level or gain sunspear points for a small bit of time, the mission arc starting up again is kinda refreshing, with alot of players following it rather directly immediately following it opening back up again, leaving blacktide den untouched until it comes in the mission arc. --98.222.56.230 14:34, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
