Talk:Brawling Headbutt
Pretty overpowered imo, but it's PvE... 220.101.136.175 14:08, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

- Not "Pretty overpowered" it is ridiculously overpowered. I have been experimenting with it and it is one of the scariest PvE skills in the game. Put Dragonslash, For Great Justice, and Brawling Headbutt on the same bar and you can perfectly knock lock a boss for 20 seconds straight. The poor thing doesn't even get a chance to use skills or attack. I toyed around with it and introduced it to some other warriors, not it is hard to get this skill off our bars. -Warskull 16:33, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
There is another skill with the same name.
- Brawling Headbutt (7 adrenaline) Melee Attack. 30 damage. Causes knock-down(3 seconds).
I think this one is used in the brawling arena. --AntiLamer 21:05, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Type[edit]
It says +dmg, and "if it hits," but this is typed Skill so it'll always work unless the target has Can't Touch This active. Should this be a "Melee Attack" then? Also the damage doesn't ignore armor.
nevermind, I'm an idiot, disregard this. :D ~Seef II <☎|→> 18:17, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Note Section[edit]
"After using this skill you gain no adrenaline, it is unknown wether or not this is intentional. It is not an attack but a touch skill." I think you answered your own question. -- Luigi (T/C) 05:25, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- It was written by 2 different contributors. Fixed now. Chriskang 09:17, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
Daemon 18:23, 7 September 2007 (UTC) Works pretty good with Dragon Slash and an IAS (like Flail). You can keep em KD pretty much all the time
Barbs?[edit]
I believe this triggers barbs somehow, i always see the animation when using it.--PyrAnkh 12:41, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
- No it doesn't. Fail. Raptaz 14:07, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
PvE Shock[edit]
This skill is on every warrior bar now plz. 80.7.169.119 08:19, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
- Of course it is; you'd be mad not to take it. This skill it the official death of PvE hammer warriors everwhere: better than any hammer knockdown except Backbreaker, unblockable and you can take an axe with Eviscerate and Executioner's Strike as well! Astralphoenix777 05:03, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
- Earth Shaker says hi. I'd prefer AoE kd in areas with lots of monsters (i.e. PvE). King Neoterikos 05:24, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
Knocklock Shiro?[edit]
Just thought of it. Why not perma-knocklock him with three stonefisted wars? Paddymew 16:13, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
- The KD apparently has to be greater than 3s, so BB is pretty much the only way. RandomJF 03:47, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
- Ah ok, I read it as greater than or equal to 3 secs. Paddymew 07:23, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
- so use earthbind?
- Ah ok, I read it as greater than or equal to 3 secs. Paddymew 07:23, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Damage dealt by this skill is physical[edit]
It ignores armor, so I'm pretty sure it's not physical. It can, however, still trigger "physical damage" effects. This is weird, anyone mind testing ? MadSkillz1o1 16:26, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
the note[edit]
"With an IAS you don't even need to take FGJ." how? for me it's hard getting 5 adren in 3 sec without adren-increasing stuff to charge dslash in time for more than 2 KD's. --212.117.103.42 12:04, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
Skill Time[edit]
Anyone else notice that this skill is even faster than other touch skills? Compare to ear bite vs a target and observe when the next weapon stroke comes down; ear bite, like other touches, has a pause, but headbutt has the next attack immediately. Maybe I'm missing something but I'd say this is very irregular and just makes BH even more crazy. Non-stonefist KD shouldn't be able to go BH-strike-lowblow, but sword/axe can do it without an ias even... 75.158.134.214 19:04, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
- Some touch skills have an aftercast, such as Shock; others don't, like Shove. Maybe this is one of the ones with no aftercast. There doesn't seem to be any pattern as to which do and which don't. 76.78.119.108 19:41, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
