Cover up?

Maybe this is a cover up for something else. I mean, maybe they updated something for the April Fools Day joke, and they needed to have a cover up for it and say that they updated something, as well as update something else that they won't say. Does anyone else understand my rambling? They updated something for the April Fools joke, but to cover it up, they had to update something else as well so that they can say they updated something but only tell us the cover up update, so we don't know about the thing they are covering up.
