Applies too…?[edit]
I assume, that HCT applies only to spells, which means only the one type of skills from this category and not all the <skills, even if they are linked to the attribute or the HCT applies to every spell, right? Thanks for explaining me this. —Faalagorn☎/✓ 22:34, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

Does this mean that the casting time is reduced to a minimum of 1/4 seconds? Or that you can quarter the casting time. I think this needs to be clarified. --Combatter 20:24, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

- Fixed. Raine is correct, I'm not sure if there even is a hard cap on activation time. For future reference, there's a history tab at the top of the page where past revisions are stored – you can use the difference between revisions to see the page as it was at any point since its creation. –~=Ϛρѧякγ

Just took Burning Speed (1/4s cast) and spammed it with a 40/40 set. You can definitely halve a 1/4s spell, so HCT is not capped at 1/4 sec. Judas 01:08, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

Stacking with Fast Casting?[edit]
Say 40/40 set, and fast casting at 9. What would the cast time of a 1 second mesmer spell be if the 40/40 HCT effect triggers? How about a nonmesmer spell at 1 second, 2 seconds and 3 seconds? 60.50.255.183 19:48, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
