Are the blessings here (from Deactivating R.O.X.) even considered skills to begin with? 95.180.84.110 19:51, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for noticing. I've changed the skills to use the Blessing Infobox instead; they should disappear from this page as soon as the wiki updates everything. Tub 21:37, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

Extremely demanding pageload[edit]

This article often yields a 502 error. Aside from being exceptionally long, mostly pointless, and simply incorrect on many entries. There are some points I feel are lacking in terms of documenting targeting on this wiki, which include (but are not limited to):

  • Using the word "untargeted;" this is game-mechanically inaccurate, as all skills have a target (or multiple targets). Their effects land on these targets.
  • No definition of self-targeting skills; skills that automatically target the user, and will never be cast on another target.
  • Breaking up skills without a fixed target into smaller articles, based on skill type. Another article could still function as an index of such (smaller) articles, should there be a need for this.

Regardless of how others feel about the above, this page needs a change in the nearby future, to avoid unnecessary stress on the server. - Infinite - talk 00:30, 17 October 2016 (UTC)

Approved. A "self-targeting skills" page was previously merged into this. --Falconeye (talk) 19:13, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
In that case, what should the classifications be? I can think of a few options to cover a lot of them:
  • Skills that target the user
  • Category:Skills that target the user
  • List of skills that target the user
  • Spells that target the user
  • Category:Spells that target the user
  • List of spells that target the user
And so forth. If we act on this, we need to make sure we act with foresight. The more thought we put into it prior to acting, the less problems might arise after starting. - Infinite - talk 12:22, 18 October 2016 (UTC)
