I think it does increate your chance of a pig drop, as I just got six lucky aura's and then two pigs. FirstSunspear 21:28, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

i got lucky arua then used another fortune and got a celestual tiger so i believe that it affects the fortune 

Lucky Aura effect

As seen here, there is an aura surrounding one with Lucky Aura. Now here's my question ... Is it possible, that it couldn't be visible because of, I don't know ... graphic drivers? I mean, I've been using ATI Catalyst 7.8 for few months (since the only working Catalyst driver after 7.8 for AGP graphic cards is 8.1 which came out last month) and since I've installed new drivers, I've already noticed few changes in graphics in GW, and I'm wondering, if the drivers could do that (some stuff not showing or showing different than before)? --Шєвч [TALK] @ 19:58, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Lucky indeed

3 slavers chest opened while lucky aura was on, 2 voltaic spear drops, both req 9. My guild mates were pissed at me lol. I did an Urgoz With Lucky Aura, Req 9 Zodiac Sheild Inscip :D Exalted Amethyst

Celestial Mini Pets

Perhaps this increases the chances of obtaining a celestial mini pet from a fortune? I opened up less than 40 fortunes, had at least one lucky aura on me and managed to get a Celestial Tiger even though it is only supposedly a 0.33% drop rate (about 1 in 300). --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.124.1.119 (talk).

0.33% chance doesn't mean that you will get one mini for every 300 you open, it's 0.33% for each fortune you open. --213.106.62.117 21:27, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

The problem is that in order to accurately determine the effect of the lucky aura on cele drops we'd need a control - an accurate count of the drop-rate without the aura active. In my experience it's extremely rare to get a mini drop before getting the aura. It's possible but I doubt it's common enough to accurately calculate the drop rate (and as far as I can tell no one has noted which came first when recording drops). It would be kind of funny if it turned out the base drop-rate for the mini was actually something like 0.1% but the lucky aura was so common it pushed it up though. 109.145.213.217 10:46, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
