I notice the campaign say Factions, I do not own faction yet I have 9 of these things. Also it might be worth while to point out this can only be used in town (if I read it right)--Worldly Tutor 06:02, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

As I understand it that is the campaign you obtain the drinks from; just because you do not own factions does not mean that you cannot have factions items due to trade between players. However if you obtained the drink outside of trade could you please reflect that in the article? MiraLantis 06:13, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
It's a festival item, and the festival in question (Canthan New Year) is cross-campaign. You can get the item from a quest in Istan, for example. -- Hong 06:16, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
This looks like the Bawls energy drink bottle [1]. --SlitherSly 18:21, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
It makes more sense for it to be Ramune or blue Powerade tbh. If it was Bawls then surely it would say Caffeinated Blue Drink... 203.142.136.254 08:33, 1 August 2024 (UTC)
Powerade; being an Electrolyte Enhanced Fruit Flavored beverage - berry flavored, hence the blue colour. Ramune; being a carbonated beverage with lemonade, for the vitamin c ~ the bottle shape is somewhat similar as to the depiction in the game, but still the two aforementioned do not give a 'jolt' aka sugar rush. Whereas the beverage Bawls; does have the 'jolt' of sugar rush from the extra caffeine, cobalt blue container and quite popular with thin the gaming community since mid 90's. So this is possibly the concept the game designers were going for -- Bawls. Tikka LeFem talk (talk) 11:09, 1 August 2024 (UTC) Sugary Blue Drink.jpg
It certainly looks like a classic Coca Cola bottle but Coca Cola doesn't come in any flavour that has Blue Food Colouring to my knowledge. If consuming Sugary Blue Drink was going to give you a Caffeine Jolt then the Skill would surely say 'Caffeine Jolt' not 'Sugar Jolt' and may've even been called Caffeinated Blue Drink. I believe that what the 'Sugar Jolt' Skill is referring to is a common phenomenon known as 'Sugar Rush': https://www.dictionary.com/e/slang/sugar-rush/ That being said—any of the aforementioned Drinks, or even Jolt Blue CX2 or the banned Pepsi Blue or blue Fanta [or insert Sugary Blue Drink Brand that existed before the Item was released here], are capable of giving you a Sugar Rush regardless of whether they also include Caffeine, Electrolytes, Vitamin C, Medicinal Cocaine or what have you. What Sugary Blue Drinks have to do with Lunar New Year simply escapes me more than a character with Sugar Jolt active. Someone on the other GW Wiki said blue Ramune (the name literally being a corruption of the word 'Lemonade'; it was once thought to cure Cholera) was more culturally relevant. Maybe it is Bawls for all we know though given the Gaming association. There's no way to know for sure unless ArenaNet reveal their secrets so we might as well try them all and get Cancer, Diabeetus, Cardiac Complaints, Allergic Reactions, Blueba[w]lled, multiple Organ Failures, Wuhan-Variant Jade Wind Affliction, ADHD, Cholera, abducted by Eiffel 65's UFO fleet to be turned into Smurfs, Cocaine Dependency, etc. HNNNNNNG203.142.136.254 23:37, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
