Talk:Sweet
Looks like you need to update this for event currently under way. RandwulfX 17:12, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
Everlasting Sweet?[edit]
There should be an everlasting sweet for speed boost just for farming or something.Just need something to use to run to portal when farming, and it should be EXTREMELY RARE.--TNT 22:55, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
- I think this almost definitely won't be implemented, as I didn't think that Anet intentionally rewarded farmers, or made it easier to farm. Nym 04:46, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
Merge[edit]
I suggest we merge this page with Sweet Tooth because the Sweet Tooth article has just about everything that is on this article, thus making this a redundant and unnecessary page. -- Konig/talk 08:33, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- I agree, as the table is identical, and there isn't any other data that merits the page existing by itself. There isn't even an acquisition table unique to this article, unlike Alcohol. Nym 04:46, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
- Sweets are items; sweet tooth is a title. Let's clean up the articles before we decide that they should be merged. Incidentally, this is the same debate as we are having about with Alcohol vs Drunkard vs Drunkenness. Maybe we should merge the debates, so that we come to consensus and implementation in parallel, rather than duplicate the same issues/edits.
- I imagine this will also come up with fireworks, party items, Party Animal, so we can cover these three types of consumables/consumption-based titles together. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 05:41, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
Death Penalty[edit]
Several items can not be used unless you have a death penalty. Perhaps a note on that should be added. (as well as a note on where one could spam them for the title)--Warzog Watch your six! 21:42, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- It's easy to spam DP/morale sweets. The simplest method is to exit nearly any outpost, bring skills that sacrifice health, commit suicide, and wait for resurrection. Repeat. Alternatively, combine with pet death leveling, punctuating your dying gasps with the occasional sweet.
- I'm not sure that this is valuable info about Sweets, but it sounds appropriate for Sweet tooth. Warzog: why not add the note yourself? — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 22:27, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- Exit the outpost,bring BiP and 7 heroes with UA for spam DP,morale sweets :D. 95.180.76.188 22:58, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Minis-treat of Purity[edit]
Why don't they show up in the auto-table? What2do? Steve1 19:42, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
- Only idea I got is to press the edit button in the upper right corner of the table, and add it manually ;) Gaudy Gourd God 19:56, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, updated Gaudy Gourd God 20:07, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
- Okay, how? What did you do? And where did you do it? Steve1 21:08, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
- I pressed that little [edit] button at the upper right corner of the sweets template-list, and added in the data. Gaudy Gourd God 21:26, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
- Copy/paste existing format is easy to do; also, see List of sweets & Template:Sweets nav. --Falconeye 21:28, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
- D'oh. I was looking at http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Sweets and http://wiki.guildwars.com/index.php?title=Sweet&action=edit and couldn't find anything. But that's because this http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/List_of_sweets would've been correct. Rats. Now I'd like to know why there are two almost identical sites. But whatever. ;-D Steve1 21:33, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
- I'd like to know that as well. Surely we don't need both of them? Gaudy Gourd God 08:44, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
- Talk:List of sweets mentions that it was transcluded on multiple pages. Has that changed in recent years? 24.197.253.243 16:52, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
- Prior to 11 December 2010, it was also transcluded on Sweet Tooth. --Silver Edge 05:58, 30 March 2012 (UTC)

War Supplies[edit]
Can someone update this table and the sweet menu to include War Supplies? I don't want to break anything. Mac 19:56, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
You want List of consumables and Consumables nav. War Supplies does NOT belong on the sweet page/nav: its does not contribute to the sweet tooth. --Falconeye 05:09, 9 April 2012 (UTC)I stand corrected... and most were convinced WS's weren't Food. ^_^--Falconeye 05:43, 9 April 2012 (UTC)- Talk:War Supplies#Sweet tooth points. --Silver Edge 05:12, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
- Ty to whoever updated the table and nav bar. :) Mac 12:48, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
