Quest requirements

You only need to do the 3 quests from Lieutenant Thackery to get the Jingle Moa. The Snowball Domination quest is completely optional. Also, I noticed that if you didn't unlock the Jingle Bear last year unlocking the Jingle Moa will in fact unlock both the Jingle Bear & the Jingle Moa. I would mention this in the wiki article of both, however it would probably be best if someone could verify this independantly. I checked after only doing Lieutenant Thackeray's quests (The Three Wise Norn, Charr-broiled Plans, and Wintersday Cheer) and the White Jingle Moa was unlocked. --Sinharath 10:07, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

I can confirm that unlocking the moa does unlock the bear as well. I was unable to participate in wintersday last year and didnt get a jingle bear, however, this year i did the quests and got the moa AND the bear. was pretty happy about that fact. :D Briar 12:43, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

Not just your previous quests - previously unlocked Jingle Bears seem to disappear after the update (until you redo the quests, that is). Look for your Jingle Bear when you deliver the Vanguard Eggnog. Draxynnic 09:44, 21 December 2009 (UTC)

It's possible the Jingle Bear requires Snowball Dominance to be completed whereas the Jingle Moa doesn't. I finished all four quests before heading out to the garden, and it unlocked both Jingle Bear and Moa. 68.145.55.231 07:52, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Jingle?

There's a note under the Jingle Bear that the bell on its collar jingles as it moves. Having recently charmed a Jingle Moa, I thought the same might be true, but I can't hear it. Is it not there, or am I tone-deaf?70.57.153.57 15:37, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

Hall of Monuments

I just got the White Jingle Moa and it says in my pet's name, Jingle Bear, also the hall of monuments doesn't give me a statue option for either my Jingle Bear or Jingle Moa, anyone know why? Unlocking Jingle Bear

When I tamed the White Jingle Moa, the Jingle Bear didn't unlock in the menagerie like the notes for this page says. Unless by unlock it means appears in Gwen's garden, it needs to be changed. Eive Windgrace 21:36, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
