Scrolls[edit]
- Common XP scrolls
These scrolls are available as loot from bosses and (in the later parts of each campaign) from merchants.
- Scroll of Adventurer's Insight - Gives Adventurer's Insight bonus: 1.5x experience gain for 10 minutes.
- Scroll of Hunter's Insight - Gives Hunter's Insight bonus: 1.75x experience gain, lasts until party fails to kill a boss for 5 minutes.
- Scroll of Rampager's Insight - Gives Rampager's Insight bonus: 2x experience gain, lasts until party fails to kill an enemy for 30 seconds.
- Uncommon XP scrolls
These scrolls are available as loot from bosses, from certain collectors, and from rare scroll traders.
- Scroll of Hero's Insight - Gives Hero's Insight bonus: 2x experience gain for 20 minutes.
- Scroll of Slayer's Insight - Gives Slayer's Insight bonus: 2.5x experience gain, lasts until party fails to kill a boss for 10 minutes.
- Scroll of Berserker's Insight - Gives Berserker's Insight bonus: 3x experience gain, lasts until party fails to kill an enemy for 60 seconds.
- Rare XP scrolls
This type of scroll can be obtained from a Coffer of Whispers or from rare scroll traders:
- Scroll of the Lightbringer - Gives Lightbringer's Insight bonus: 3x experience gain for 30 minutes.
- Scroll of the Vanquisher - Gives Vanquisher's Insight bonus: 3.5x experience gain, lasts until party fails to kill a boss for 15 minutes.
- Scroll of the Juggernaut - Gives Juggernaut's Insight bonus: 4x experience gain, lasts until party fails to kill an enemy for 90 seconds.

- Bind -> The character can not use the formation command.
- Blind -> The character's accuracy and evade rates drops harshly.
- Heat -> Causes exhaustion; If you get hit by a fire attack in this time, it will change to Burn.
- Burn -> The character suffers health degeneration; It will wear off on its own.
- Darkness -> The character obtains a random status ailment each turn until it eventually wears off.
- Curse -> The character obtains a random status ailment.
- Dizzy -> Removes the ability to select your target.
- Frostbite -> Delays the character's turn; If you get hit by a Ice attack in this time, it will change to Freeze.
- Freeze -> The character can not act; It will wear off on its own.
- Kelolon -> Reduces attack and HP healing values to 1 but increases the character's critical hit damage.
- Paralyze -> The character will fail to act most (but not all) of the time.
- Dust ->
- Petrify -> The character loses the ability to act; It acts the same as KO -- if your characters are all KO'd and/or Petrified, it's a game over for you. Before you are actually petrified, you'll have 3 turns before you turn to stone. If you are hit by the Stone spell in this time you'll instantly change.
- Poison -> At the end of every turn the character takes damage.
- Toxin -> At the end of every turn the character takes damage; It does more damage than poison.
- Seal -> The character can not cast spells.
- Sleep -> The character can not act; Wears off after a random number of turns, or even on your first turn.
- Disease -> The character takes damage at the end of the turn.
- Virus -> The character takes damage at the end of the turn; Unlike Poison it wears off on its own.
