Smiting Prayers[edit]
Banish[edit]
Current:[edit]
- 5 1 10 Spell. Deals 20...56...65 holy damage. Summoned creatures take double damage.
Proposed:[edit]
Boro's Proposal[edit]
- 5 1 4 Spell. Deals 20...52...60 holy damage. Summoned creatures take double damage.
- Previously this spell was weak and it's long recharge made it useless for any situation, even when players were fighting with teams using many spirits. The reduced recharge now makes it useful for damage dealing and it has increased damage to make it useful in other situations. Boro 12:41, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
Retribution[edit]
Current:[edit]
- 1, 10, 2 Enchantment Spell. While you maintain this Enchantment, whenever target ally takes attack damage, this Spell deals 33% of the damage back to the source (maximum 5...17...20 damage).
Proposed:[edit]
Raine's Proposal[edit]
- 10, ¼, 5 Enchantment Spell. For 3 seconds, target ally takes 10...26...30% less damage. When Retribution ends, all nearby foes take Holy damage equal to the amount prevented (maximum 120 damage).
Smite[edit]
Current:[edit]
- 10, 1, 10 Spell. Deals 10...46...55 holy damage. Deals 10...30...35 holy damage if target is attacking. .
Proposed:[edit]
Raine's Proposal[edit]
- 10 1 4 Spell. Target foe takes 5...21...25 holy damage for each of their recharging hostile skills. Nearby allies are healed for half the damage dealt.
- Smite is one of those skills that never sees play ever. It's been reworked into a very conditional damage skill and AoE heal. It maxes out at 160 damage and a huge AoE heal at r15, though finding a target with 8 recharging hostile skills isn't something one would expect often. A typical warrior, for example, has four to five hostile skills (Bull's, Evis, Exe, Dchop; Bull's, Earth Shaker, Crushing, Bash, Iron Palm), and, as often as not, the ones on the lower end of the adrenal spectrum are charged; I'd expect this to regularly hit for around 80. It might kill bad sins, though (WC, Falling Lotus, Twisting, Palm, Falling Spider, BoS). What I like particularly is that you can't spike out backline with it. Raine - talk 23:33, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
