Mind Burn[edit]
- Your Mind Burn is borked. Useless in PvE/general use because of exhaustion. Would be nerfed in PvP for being a spike skill.96.233.2.149 01:40, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
- How so? I don't recall changing the damage. The secondary damage would only trigger with the Exhaustion, it would be as much of a spike threat as the current form. This would just make it more useful in battles that last a long time - and unlike Mind Freeze and Mind Shock this skill doesn't have a secondary effect that controls movement on the battlefield. Lava Arrows[edit]
- Worse than Fireball.
- How so? This isn't AoE. Compare it more to Dancing Daggers and Stone Daggers. The projectiles would all be going towards the same target as long as you met the conditions for getting the bonus projectiles. Thinking of it as AoE doesn't apply to the suggested version, and I believe you read it wrong. Do you have any new comments for it knowing that? Should I word it better? Smoldering Embers[edit]
Star Burst[edit]
- We don't need more spike skills.
- True, but we also don't need more useless elites. And Elite skills make better spike skills than others because the restrict builds a lot more. Like - BSpike versus IVSpike. BSpike had a bunch of powerful monk elites like Shield of Deflection, Restore Condition and [[[Divert Hexes]] on bars that were meant for spiking. An IVSpike necromancer only has access to non-elite skills which aren't as powerful or influential to a fight. I'm not saying Spirit Bond isn't useful because it most definitely is. I suppose that this suggestion is a little too strong when taken in copies and used in a spike but how do you think that this suggestion's "function" be changed to work against spikes? - Thank you. ^^ Bathory talk 22:14, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- I wish anet had a way altering mechanics to do this (they've claimed its impossible due to being -hard-wired- into mechanics, but then they said the same for Backbreaker & knockdowns)... could be uber synergy with Dragon's Stomp and Kai Ying current build rock. ^_^ --Falconeye 08:34, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

5 0 15 - (Energy Storage) - Elite Skill. You gain 5...21...25 Energy and remove 5...21...25 points of Exhaustion. Your spells cause exhaustion (10 seconds).
- I don't really like the idea of removing Exhaustion, whether it's possible or not. But energy management skills shouldn't really ever contain Exhaustion unless they're very powerful. This skill having it's large cast time and relatively meager energy gain (keeping in mind it costs 15 energy, 5 cost and 10 from exhaustion even if it's interrupted) makes it very weak.
