While not necessary

The wiki sees .JPG and .jpg as different extensions (even though .JPG can be changed to .jpg via movefile), meaning you could name two images alike, as Image.JPG and Image.jpg
We prefer the lowercase extensions per our guidelines. Just so you'd know :) - J.P.Talk 08:48, 11 December 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the tip. I was not aware of that, and I will try to keep them to *.jpg in the future. If I keep them as my own user images, though, it doesn't matter? I wouldn't want to do whatever it was I did again that made you rename and relink all my example dye pictures on my project page and call me a fuck.
