(Reset indent) Thanks guys! I've got L4D, Gears of War 1 & 2 in my backpack and I'm gonna have a good time after class. I want to pounce on my friends so much to hear them scream (both in game and out). --Antioch 18:40, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Shiny....
Would you mind if I stole utilized your quicklinks nav style on top of your userpage? Those seem handy. :D -- Wandering Traveler 02:24, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- Sure, I actually got that from Aiiane I think though. Pfft, GDFL, it's fine. --Antioch 03:08, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
Animations
Is it just me or are they playing faster than they should be? File:Light of Dwayna.gif, for example. -- Brains12 \ talk 19:10, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
- I re uploaded that one. The sample rate for LoD was too low. --Antioch 19:11, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
File redirects
Redirects from an empty page in the File namespace to another file should be left as they are. That way all old image usages, so where the old name is used, still work and display the new image; and if there is a redirect at the target image that one is used when clicking the image in any way. So changing the redirects just breaks the pages, so I reverted you on those :) poke | talk 22:29, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, will keep that in mind for the future. Thanks Poke! --Antioch 01:19, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Hi, could you capture my Guild Cape ingame?
Hi my Guild The Heroic Dragons needs a new guild cape image because its outdated and out of colour, would you mind some time to capture my cape inagame like you did with your guild cape image. -- Yo Jm 07:13, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- Better yet, let this guide teach you! If you need help still, I will capture the image for you. --Antioch 18:03, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
Got this texmod thing to work, pressed F1 on the keyboard to capture my cape, now how do i load the captured cape on paint.net?
I followed all the instructions carefully on the guide Seru made.my cape went green, i pressed F1 to capture the cape, now how do i get my cape to load on Paint.net? Please help, im very stuck. (post reply on my talk and something below i made for you :)) -- Yo Jm 06:04, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- Do you know where the screenshot saved on your computer? It should be a simple matter of opening it in Paint.net. --Antioch 19:04, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- No, i pressed F1 like it sais, but i dont know where it saved. How Do i know? -- Yo Jm 19:45, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

But you cant do that stuff on wiki for some reason. :P--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Yo Jm (talk).
- I can see it in the editing. I think it's up to the browser's user's settings on what the default font is. I've heard of ASCII, but how did you do it? Did you just sit down and do it one bit by bit? --Antioch 05:46, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Well yes thats just how you do it,its quite hard to learn so dont expect to be able to do that on your first day :P, also alt codes may be a help for ascii, like you can make various symbols like © and ä with alt codes. and you can easily format it. all you do is hold down alt and type a certain code on the number pad e.g 0169 and let go of alt when you finish and that should give you this symbol ©. Hope you enjoyed my guide -- Ýö Jm 05:58, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
I'm Not Going to Mention Names....
....but with people like that, the only option seems to be to wait until they break a few rules, ban them, and watch them closely when their ban expires, if they come back. I'm sure you know of whom I speak. If you have an alternative, please enlighten me. I have a rather relentless intolerance (yes, it makes sense :)) for issues like this, so I'm going to stay FAR away from it. — Jon Lupen 04:00, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- I've said my piece, I'm not going to dabble anymore, and didn't plan on doing so. I think I have enough CHA and ranks in "Diplomacy" and "Persuade" to make it through. Otherwise, a Banhammer will suffice. :-) --Antioch 04:05, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- Sometimes, when things are heading to Hell in a hand basket, the best course of action is to let them finish the trip and let things work themselves out there. My prediction for how it's going to go: your going to get a tongue lashing from the user in question, and then the topic proceeds to spiral out of control and degenerate even further. It may seem rather cynical of me, but I'm kind of hoping for a ban.... My vengeful tendancies and I need to have a talk.... — Jon Lupen 04:16, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- The thing is, I don't mind a tongue lashing. I know I can keep my cool, and some others can't. That's why I would rather take it on myself and manage/weather it myself. --Antioch 04:27, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- The worst things happen when I'm cool, not only can I be out for blood, but I'll still be coherent, logical and functioning. The hard part is resisting the urge to fight back. — Jon Lupen 04:32, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- I was gonna ban him anyway but decided that egging him on might be more fun. -Auron 04:58, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

They have returned. Everyone, get out your torches and pitch-forks. — Jon Lupen 15:44, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, okay. That's enough. --Antioch 19:11, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
lol
thanks for that. been wondering why it's been doing 3.X instead of 4, 5, 6, ect for the quicklink. xD -Lena talk 01:11, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Animations(2)
I saw your working with the animation page and I had to mention that the animation of Holy Veil is missing. Since your specialty is the monk I thought you wanted to know ^^ |Cyan LightLive!| 15:43, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- Ooh, is it? Test. I guess it is! I haven't figured out how to create a DPL list using the current template we have for No Attribute skills. Thanks for the catch! --Antioch 17:26, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- NP ^^ I saw the annimation of Essence Bond 2 times listed and I thought why that? Then I saw that Holy Veil was missing... |Cyan LightLive!| 17:29, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
"Needs"
Ahem: "It may be a good idea (but it's not necessary) to use TexMod with a mod provided by Kurd (available here) in order to give the Isle of the Nameless a black background". So please, stop claiming it's necessary to update those images, and while I'm here, please don't try changing the index pages I have made to track the skill progression of the images I have uploaded into the format you like. That's also a change that isn't necessary, assuming what you want is what is needed. Erasculio 23:32, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, not needs, but it would be greatly appreciated. The format of the index pages I do care about because it tells what has been uploaded to the wiki, the only one that matters - ie, not hosted off-site. I'm not trying to hinder your efforts here, Erasculio. We're on the same team. I suggest, if you're keeping some off site and not uploaded them yet, keep a list in your own userspace. The reason I did the indexing on the project pages, is so they would be standardized and be more ascetically pleasing and easy to see at a glance on what we need next. I ask that you undo your edit on the index pages, and keep a record on your own page, please.
Also, I think with the undo, some of the animation that are marked as uploaded, are actually not.--Antioch 02:33, 23 May 2009 (UTC)- The problem is that standardization purely for the sake of standardization isn't necessairly a good thing, and it's definitely not something that I consider more ascetically pleasing. I have been very busy these last months, but the reason I didn't change over to your format is because I plan to add a new column to my tables showing which animations (among those that have been uploaded) are finalized and which ones I am going to remake so they look better. That's something useful for anyone who looks at that page (so people - and People - don't remind me to remake anything) but at the same time it's not necessary for the Paragon skill animations index or any of the other.
- Also, we already have few people working on this. If we approach them and claim that they "need" a TexMod mod in order to be part of this project, we are likely going to end with even less contributors that we have right now. That's specifically the reason why the guidelines in the project page state that using the black background on the Isle of the Nameless is not required, and why I would ask you to not demand that out of people. Erasculio 11:55, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
- I went with what Kurd did with the indexing of pages, but if you have something better, I would very much like to see it! :-) The words I chose on the talk pages were not the ones I should have used, and I am sorry for that. I didn't think running Texmod was/could be a big deal for some users. Possibly, we can come to some kind of compromise here, that's what this wiki is partly about. Perhaps we can both have a look at table template and see if we can add a section or other allowing for a "needs to be redone" or "not yet approved" bit? The reason I went away from the first tables (the ones you have now) is because each and every skill had to be hand put in. As you can see in the above subject, there's more room for error. --Antioch 18:37, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
This topic will self-destruct in 10 seconds.
An entire page for one topic? 9...
That's a bit of overkill don't you think? 8...
That's like blowing up an entire building for a few papers inside. 7...
