Wording[edit]
Having a slight problem with the wording, if someone can help out. Not only the skill but the notes themselves. Think along the lines of Splinter Weapon, where the counter only works for your target but still effects multiple enemies.- Vanguard 12:59, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
- Elite Form. For 10...36...42 seconds, your attacks are armor-ignoring. The next 1...3...4 time(s) you are hit a random Condition is applied to the attacker for 1...3...4 seconds. This Skill is disabled for 120 seconds.

- That does look better, I may use.- Vanguard 19:42, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, I think you could come up with a whole better function for the skill. I'll work on the icon if you don't mind.reanor 20:27, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
- The function is a work in progress. Also, that pic is HOT. Much <3 for that.- Vanguard 20:56, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
- yeah, great work! there are even two heads of Abaddon to see, as it is with the other form's icons. The last missing thing would be an equal player form image now :P —ZerphaThe Improver 21:11, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

proposal: damage type[edit]
what would you think about changing the damage to shadow damage? (keeping the armor ignoring note, though) Would suit nice to Abaddon imo —ZerphaThe Improver 21:11, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
- I wasn't aware there was shadow damage in-game. Even my shadow bow does piercing...- Vanguard 21:15, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
- yeah, but that's a weapon with restrictions in damage types, Holy Rods also don't inflict holy damage yeah, though there are monk weapons that once did :P, but Avatar of Balthazar changes your damage type of your weapon, though. Or Avatar of Grenth, which deals cold damage (which is again diffrent from holy/shadow dmg as it's elemental damage that could be added with weapon suffixes). —ZerphaThe Improver 21:24, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'unno. I don't see any benefit from that. Armor ignoring is fine enough.- Vanguard 22:28, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'd also even think it'd be better if it wouldn't change the actual dmg type to Shadow Damage. As i said, it'd suit to the flavor of this skill, that was the main idea :P —ZerphaThe Improver 13:09, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Don't get me wrong, I luvz the input.- Vanguard 15:07, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- How exactly does armor ignoring damage work in this regard? Usually "armor ignoring" means that it deals exactly what the skill says - Obsidian Flame deals 100 damage at lvl 13, regardless of armor. But what is your damage value here? Are we just going from the scythe, so just swinging you'll always do somewhere between 9 and 41 damage? Do you mean that it acts as if everyone has 0 armor (in which case you'd mow down everyone in 2 seconds), 60 armor, +armor skills are ignored... or what? Either I'm missing something elementary, or this doesn't make sense. — THARKUN 02:15, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- Within the scythe damage range, acts as if everyone has 0 armor.- Vanguard 11:27, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- Normally, "armor ignoring" means, as Tharkun said, it deals always the amount of damage as if the target had 60 armor. If it deals damage as if the target had 0 armor, that would nearly triple the damage. Quite devasting, if you ask me... —ZerphaThe Improver 19:26, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Avatar of Abaddon[edit]
→ moved from Vanguard (talk page)
Say I was just thinking...this should also cause all party members currently under the affect of Ursan Blessing to bow to you. -- Inspired to ____ 23:35, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Clever. My avatar is no more overpowered than melandru.- Vanguard 23:56, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, all you would need to do is Echo chain Eternal Aura with your your avatar to spam conditions and make them suckers do nothing much but bow to you. -- Inspired to ____ 00:25, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- Echo form? I haven't thought of that...- Vanguard 00:33, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well not actually the form; but, Eternal Aura which would do little good on other avatars because they are consistent while up. Restarting yours; however, adds a benefit (hopefully the Ursans bow :-) . -- Inspired to ____ 00:40, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- Ah! Because it lasts shorter than most of them, even grenth? It's probably cuz I'm tired but I'm not fully comprehending. And i'm going to bed, I'll reply tomorrow morning.- Vanguard 01:48, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- I should have asked...how long do the randomly applied conditions last? If not for the duration of the avatar (well that would be awful if its fire) or at least for several seconds, then its actually weak and echo won't help either. oops.-- Inspired to ____ 02:10, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe I should make it a set 10 seconds? It's got enough skill progressions as it is.- Vanguard 11:19, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Conditions[edit]
need different durations. 5s blind is much nastier than 5s bleeding. - Y0_ich_halt 17:56, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- Be happy, 10s on conditions was my first though. Besides, don't some spells make 13+ seconds of blind? You can handle 5 seconds. And when fighting ruby djinns, even if their spells only last 3 seconds, they make it longer. Seemingly. I think 5s is a good length.- Vanguard 18:18, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- 5s is perfectly fine for blind. what i said is that you're giving a random condition here. and if that's blind, 5s is ok, but if your attacker gets bleeding, 5s will barely do anything. you'll have to adjust the length for the other conditions, similarily to how it's with Drunken Blow. - Y0_ich_halt 20:05, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- Misunderstood, sorry. What's wrong with 5 seconds for them all, though?- Vanguard 21:26, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- fairness? rough equality of damage? - Y0_ich_halt 21:46, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- yeah, if the foe gets one condition at random with the same duration, the skills strength is influenced by luck. —ZerphaThe Improver 19:23, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
- how about: "...applies Deep Wound (10s), Blind (5s), Dazed (7s), Burning (10s) or a different condition (20s)." this would reduce the luck factor to a minimum. - Y0_ich_halt 19:41, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
- Feel free to edit it in, it's a good idea but I'm not sure how to reword it (wording has been the main problem ever since I made this page)- Vanguard 19:45, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
- whenever you choose to add "random condition", the description is deemed to be way too long. just like drunken blow etx. - Y0_ich_halt 21:50, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
- Which is why I feel that 5 seconds is a decent length for any condition.- Vanguard 11:09, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- which is, unfortunately, not right :P - Y0_ich_halt 12:30, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
