Looks fun, though I think one skill is not enough, if you are going to crown the winner based on balance, they need to provide at least 2 skills for each attribute to demonstrate the overall idea of how the profession would work. [GOD]

Ok, if I can get some donaters to this contest then I am going to need a Guild to help me host this (i.e. one that can hold and present the prizes in-game), so how about ours? Since I prob. wont be in-game till this weekend, there is not much I can do atm :S.... So, if we can get the [GOD] guild (or allaince) to help host this then it would be a big help. If you want you can shoot down this idea and I can try to coordinate it myself :P, that is up to u. I for the most part agree with it. I dont like it because it has ruined some pve play, yes. But that doesnt mean i never ever use it. Though in most cases i prefer FoW to DoA, and i know i can do that without ursan. Imo, i think ursan was made as a dungeon killer, not as an elite area killer. I agree entirely with your feeling here. Then again I feel utter hatred towards the wikibuilders, so its no big stretch to say that i would hate any mass used build. even though im not what most would consider an "elite player" I have observed the Ursanizing of the GW world. heya, you seem to be online atm, so a short question: is the title in this image censored (i.e. blacked out)? i edited it, uploaded the new version (and it shows the changed file size correctly), but even after purge-refreshing, it shows the old version for me. - Y0_ich_halt 15:49, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

It's probably just a cache thing.. give it 15-20 minutes for the server to catch up. Even with a forced purge it's slow about images.-- Wynthyst 15:53, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Result file size

Hi again ^__^ I saw on the link you put in my talk page about the rules and all, and how to find my resulting file size. It says "You can verify your page size simply by saving your user page with your browser and checking the resulting file size. Note that some browsers do not save the images used on the page, so you need to manually add the file sizes of any images to the file size of your user page". When he says "manually add the file sizes of any images to the file size of your user page", does that mean to click on every picture and total up the KB that is listed? Thanks. Just do a save page as in your browser and save it to your desktop. If you are using Firefox, it will create a folder that contains all your images and stuff on the page. Look at the properties of that folder, and it will give you the size of the page. The restriction only applies to your user mainpage, as it is the page that most people have to load to access your talk page.-- Wynthyst 18:59, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Crafter Project

I noticed that the TOC error is occuring on the project pages, so shoulde be put something like "Dom Staves" or "Inspr Wands" to avoid this? It would be a hassel for some user when it gets to the mainspace if we dont do something to fix it. --Shadowphoenix 06:58, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Well first of all I cant get the name to come up correctly, i end up posting the entire link instead of just my character's name. and ten i have to learn all your other formats for the hero/title/minipet/elite skill thingys. Guild Page

"Greetings Imogen. I notice you have been working on your guild page. I would like to point out that the Guild page policy indicates that character profiles of members are not allowed on the main guild page. These should be moved to Userspace for each member (or one member of the guild can have a User subpage for Guild members. The Guild page is for documenting your guild, not individual members. -- Wynthyst 00:51, 25 May 2008 (UTC)"

I reviewed the Guild Page Policy your link provided, and found the following info which may be pertinant to this situation:

• Guild pages, which include their talk pages, shall not be used as a chat forum, recruitment board or guild roster. Guild pages shall not be used to contact the guild members.
• Guild pages should be relatively stable. Do not list such information as who is online, what the guild's current rating/rank is, etc. (It is OK to list the final ratings from past ladder seasons.)
• Guild pages should not use large or large numbers of images. A single image of your guild members striking a pose or a guild cape is allowed. Profiles of every character of every player in the guild is not.

I'm not sure where the mention of small sections of a select set of important members is not allowed, could you please direct me to that page? I'm eager to rectify this situation in a way that conforms to the policy but allows some information to be shown. Thanks for your interest in our guild page, and I look forward to your response.

It's the character profiles of several members - those are best left to individual userpages rather than your guild page. Well, the policy says... "Guild pages should not use large or large numbers of images. A single image of your guild members striking a pose or a guild cape is allowed. Profiles of every character of every player in the guild is not." The purpose of the guild page is to document the guild's existence, to provide basic information regarding history, philosophy, recruiting, important documentable achievements (tourney wins etc), and contact information. If you wish to more thoroughly document members, move that information to a guild subpage, or more appropriately, provide links to each member's userpage, or a centralized subpage on the guild leader's userspace. -- Wynthyst 21:37, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, I'll keep that in mind as I go on with the page, I wont be putting any character profiles on, but what exactly constitutes large numbers of images? Is it based on the size of the article? Or just a flat number? I really want to conform to the policy, but having a single image for the whole guild page seems pretty restrictive... Also, could you explain the Guild subpage? No worries, the guild page policy is very restrictive, the guild page is not intended to be the guild website, just documentation of the guild's existence. Normally, images on the main guild page are restricted to a single group picture, a picture of the cape and a picture of the guild hall, more than that becomes inappropriate. To create a subpage, you just create a new page named Guild:<full name of your guild>/<name of subpage>. Then you can put all the extra information on the subpage, with just a link on the mainpage. However, if it is just information about individual members, rather than the guild in general, it really belongs in User namespace, not Guild namespace. -- Wynthyst 02:30, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
