Have fun discussing this...
ANet has already stated that they will not implement storage for books, because it would take up too much server space. Sorry. Vili 12:34, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- I know, I read that and was quite discouraged. As you see in the bit of text I wrote. A lot of people want this, I asked Gaile and she said that it was a decent idea and that I should take my chance and post it here. Besides 'no server space' ? Isn't that a pretty lame excuse? I understand that they want as much players as posible, and given the recent lag spikes everyone got on event-times I trust A-net's servers are overloading. But to pull the plug on support simply because it would require more servers is not a valid argument if you are keen on expanding your player base.
- I have to agree with you on this one. How much more space could it possibly take up on the server? #1, there is already some code in the game to indicate that you have books A, B, and C with 'x' quests already completed on them so all you then need is a small bit of code to add 'x' number of inventory slots where book A, B or C is stored. Storage space limitations is a lame excuse, and untrue in my opinion.--209.194.208.116 17:15, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
This idea has already shown up on the suggestion pages / it is redundant.
