Objectives

• Speak to Weng Gha.
• Talk to Weng Gha again to begin your test.
• Use defensive skills to survive attacks for 2 minutes, or defeat Jinzo and Weng Gha.
• See Instructor Ng for your reward.

Walkthrough

If you can, just defeat them. Otherwise, use the skills you gained when accepting the quest to stay alive for as long as you can.
Also, since Weng Gha will be using Drunken Blow, bring a condition removal skill.

Initial dialogue

Instructor Ng

"Within the monastery we are safe, but in order to survive outside these walls, you must learn to defend yourself. In this training exercise, you will be attacked by two of our instructors: Weng Gha and Jinzo. I will provide you with defensive skills; use them to survive their attacks for two full minutes.

By accepting this quest you will abandon other advanced training quests and put yourself into a separate training arena from the rest of your party, if applicable."

 Accept: "Sounds straightforward enough."

 Decline: "I'm not sure I can survive for two minutes."

 Ask: "There are many different defenses available to you. Go and show off your skills to Weng Gha and Jinzo in the Dojo."

Intermediate dialogue

Weng Gha

«name», I hope you are ready with your defensive skills. Jinzo and I are going to force you to use them."

Weng Gha

"Ready...begin!"

When Gha: "This apprentice does not look very tough to me, Jinzo. Perhaps we should take it easy."

Jinzo: "We shall see, Weng Gha. This one may have more skill than you think."

Weng Gha: "Your challenge begins now. Survive for two minutes."

Jinzo: "Good! Keep going; you are doing well."

Weng Gha: "Excellent work! You are almost there...just a little while longer..."

Jinzo: "You have done well, [Character Name]. Return to Instructor Ng to receive credit for this course."
