Lashona Bug[edit]
Is the Lashona Bug fixed? I was able to re-accept the "inquisitor lashona" quest before the update... --80.121.95.3 19:18, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- I had the same bug. it kind of reminded me of the ring with its broken dialogue box... so i left it alone. - Ixillius
- One of the quests says "Queen Salma," and since you aren't supposed to be able to get the quests after she becomes queen, I think someone at Anet copy/pasted the quests in preparation for new ones and they accidentally got added. -- Kirbman 20:01, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
Salma Bug Reset?[edit]
I finished A Little Help From Above yesterday, and couldn't go further due to Salma not giving out the next quest. Now after the update, the Wanted board lists the 3 Inquisitors that you need to kill to get Riverside Assassination. Is that really the fix? 76.250.38.1 19:19, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- plz share the result, i have same issue, does killing the 3 inquisitor allow you to access temple quest ? (next one in storyline) 82.224.68.40 19:27, 19 November 2010 (UTC)nobody
- Just finished the Little Help quest, still no Temple quest, and I don't have those three wanted neither... --Lady Rhonwyn 19:34, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- I Also finished A Little Help From Above yesterday, after this update i still do not have the Temple of the Intolerable quest available. My inquisitor quests were not reset either, so i don't have those available again either. This is starting to get very annoying --Craz1 21:31, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

ok... i managed to get my quest line to continue. What i had to do was go complete Thackeray's Scavenger Hunt for Lieutenant Thackeray, after that i had to watch the dialog outside the eye of the north outpost to recruit the ebon vanguard. then the game gave me the 3 inquisitor quests again (even though i completed them before), after this it let me continue on with the quests from Princess Salma. --Craz1 01:11, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- I'm stuck at this point, unable to get the three Wanted quests on a new char who's done Prophecies. So, to complete the WiK, which you don't necessarily need to finish EotN to partake in, to get a quest to continue it on, you need to first complete EotN? I hope ANet fixes this crap, EotN takes too damn long.Ifm2181 15:44, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Three days to complete EOTN. 4 if you are lazy. 1 section per day(just follow your primary) Rogueonion 16:03, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

Bounty Reset Bug[edit]
Following this patch, I can re-accept the 3 bounties leading up to the WiK quest chain. I cannot, however, complete them as while they are in my log, the NPCs do not spawn. --Mystisteel 20:10, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Confirmed. Quests want you to turn it into Princess Salma, the NPC which no longer spawns once you complete BFLA. Disappointing, I would've liked to get a useful amount of War Supplies. Ifm2181 01:38, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

Is that it?[edit]
Find the 4 items and finish all of Keiran's quests, then go to EotN and read dialogue where Gwen says YES to Keiran, and GO!
This is not a complaint or anything, I am just asking if "thats it for this update" or if there is MORE, since ANet did not tell us what exactly has been added or when should we know if we are done or not... 173.32.190.24 21:23, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- There's definitely more, but I'm not sure if this is it for now, and the rest will be next week or if we have to find something else... I think we have to wait though. Let them get ready. — Poki#3 (talk) 21:27, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- wedding to come I assume, Instead of a new hero they should have(like in bonus mission packs) given us the opportunity to get a customized to toon gold modifiable Keirans Recurve Bow. - @Rogueonion, no. I hate that anyone can now have the Ithas skin. Please don't add insult by letting people have one better than my Ithas. Wait for GW2 to use one or get the Proph preorder... Now excuse me while I go QQ more in a corner. Aro 23:05, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- @Aro, I am sorry, but I think since this is a bonus mission type situation, that the rewards should be similar, even though it is slightly different, but I am thinking that since I have heros to the umpteenth I do not really NEED another npc that I probably will not even use due to the over existence of such. now... A Kieran's bow that is customized to my toon, and moddable, THAT would be something worth the effort. But hey, that is just my two cents worth and we all know my two cents do not even matter because I am just another "ignorant PVE player" <laughs at the stupidity of such a thing>. Rogueonion 23:49, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- I'm quite excited for a new hero. Honestly, I can wait 'till GW2 for the Ithas Bow. I'm more thrilled to see our new friend, especially if it gets multiple armor sets (hope so... M.O.X. is the tiniest bit disappointing due to that). But, I might mostly just be excited because I hate that Mesmers, Assassins, Ritualists, and Paragons still only have 2 heroes while the others have three... - Well, it will not be a sin or a ranger=D i never use para hero because well imba is the only good thing para has and hero's can't imba, now, mesmer? why would we need a third mesmer hero? I mean I have 2 already and 1 is overkill in a party these days, Dervish hero? useless. mesmers got that buff that hits SO hard with enchant stripping (and guess what mesmers spam their skills so strip strip oh wait your dead already? hums. mox is a HUGE dissapointment only because he is so big that he spends SO much time falling off cliffs and having to run around to get back to the party. - Friend had a hunch (just a hunch) that it'll be Keiran but as a Paragon. — Poki#3 (talk) 03:32, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- I dunno it seems to me that it would break the whole story, I mean he is a ranger and a damn strong one and everyone knows it, so while I thought briefly that it could be him I then saw John Stummes comment about it not being a ranger and I do not think they would change his profession like that, Rogueonion 03:47, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Except that he's a W/Rt (with 20 in each ranger skill) in the Hearts of the North plot. --Mystisteel 14:56, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- He's an R/P. --neshot. 16:37, 20 November 2010.
- Lorewise, though, how could he have learned anything about being a Paragon without ever having gone to Elona? The profession is native to that continent, and I don't recall any lore explanation given as to how non-Tyrian profs spread back to Tyria. --Nathe 20:38, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

- Travlers from the Asura Gates, you know, the one that sprang up by Kamadan. Simple explanation is; they were like "Oh my! let's go through this mysterious gate." They emerged and spread their culture to the Vanguard. - Lucian Shadowborn 21:44, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

- @Nathe: nobody said he never went there in the several years between the Searing and now. :) And who knows, maybe he took a trip to GToB instead. He also apparently managed to learn those skills right at that moment--he was considered a pure Ranger when he was on our team in WiK, wasn't he? Maybe professions are actually some kind of enlightenment that happens to our heroes, and doing the secondary profession quest opens up our minds to another form of learning... So Keiran is so cool that he can do it without a trainer handing him a quest! :D 128.113.201.222 02:15, 21 November 2010 (UTC)

- The only thing that irks me is the last quest. You get 4 quests that are actually a challenge for a change, and after that you get the grand finale... which consists of killing level 14 minotaurs. Yea, like we have not seen that kind of shit before. Koda Kumi 13:37, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
Just my 2 cents... i think the new Canthan Hero will be the ghost of Master Togo... Just have a feeling. 41.240.144.160 22:07, 22 November 2010 (UTC) Keyz
- I.P. Dude, that would be pretty cool. Why do you think that though? - Lucian Shadowborn 22:38, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, that isn't too far of a long shot. I doubt the hero won't be tied to Winds of Change somehow, and we already know that Cantha is rife with the ghosts of long-dead heroes. Especially if, as I'm hoping, WoC has to do with the tengu racism--which Togo opposed. Although I would still prefer an actual tengu. 128.113.201.222 23:01, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
Update 2.[edit]
So, I have Guild Wars on multiple places on my harddrive, in order to launch multiple clients. Since the update, every single shortcut or exe for guild wars refuses to acknowledge the proper .dat file, insisting that "Guild Wars is installed here". I went and deleted the extra folders, with full knowledge that I can restore them later, and it still doesn't recognize Guild Wars as being installed in my x86 folder. So, now it wants to download 5.5 thousand files. Fuck my life. 75.159.98.89 02:41, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Next time make a clean copy of your .dat to a external HD or burn it to a DVD if you think that is safe then all you need to do is copy that over rather than reinstall the files. I backup my .dat every 3 months. Rogueonion 02:45, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
