Halloween 2010
Halloween 2010 was a Guild Wars in-game event, to celebrate the annual return of Mad King Thorn.
Welcome to Halloween 2010![edit]
“Starting Thursday, October 21, at Noon Pacific (-7 GMT) the celebration begins with creepy consumable items, brand-new quests, the annual Costume Brawl, and an appearance by Mad King Thorn himself on October 31st! The fun doesn't end until November 2! For more information, visit http://www.guildwars.com.
- This time of year, when fear holds sway
- And Mad King Thorn comes out to play,
- His trusty servants hope and pray
- That Halloween is here to stay.
- You’ll get a strange thing from the king
- And stranger still from candy,
- Beware the pain that bad jokes bring,
- And keep your weapons handy.
- An ancient evil stains the land,
- It reaches from the interior,
- The grasp of doom's cold, clammy hand:
- Could Tyria get any eerier?

---|---|---|---|
The opposing Guild Lord drops 50 Trick-or-Treat Bags for each player of the winning team when he dies. To prevent exploitation, no rewards are offered if (a) the match ends after 28 minutes without either side killing a Guild Lord or (b) the battle ends in under 15 seconds (e.g. due to one team resigning or zoning).
