Passive is a characteristic that might refer to a game mechanic that operates without active intervention by the player, the AI or a creature trait. For more information, see the relevant article:
- Passive skills
- Passive monster skills that are always on, e.g. Duncan's Defense or Undead Sensitivity to Light.
- Passive title skills produce a constant effect when a character displays a relevant title, e.g Stout-Hearted from displaying Deldrimor rank.
- Passive creatures
- Passive foes are creatures that appear either green or red in the compass, can be targeted by offensive skills, and do not aggro unless damaged or targeted with a skill by the party. All charmable animals are passive foes.
- Passive spirits create an area of effect while alive or upon death, e.g. the Spirit of Union created by Union.
