Friday, July 25, 2008 One of my awesome birthday presents this year was a ticket to see one of my favorite bands (Nine Inch Nails) tomorrow night. A group of us are heading out to the show, so I'm really excited about that. I'm drowning in stuff to do lately, so I'd like to come in and hang out in the studio on Sunday getting caught up on some critical things. If I do that, I'm going to try to knock out a batch of renders. I'll be focusing on some shadow army renders for Primeval Sentinel, hero renders for Wynthyst, and I'll try to find out where the heck the Hall of Monuments models are hiding so I can grab those too. Anyways, more apologies for my sporadic appearances lately! I promise that I'm around checking on stuff even if ya don't see me post :) Quick randomness: My roomate got a Roomba the other night. I had a grand time watching a robot vacuum the floor while I sat around playing 360. I try to balance what I play between a few PC games and a few console games, working my way through things as I get time. Right now, I'm playing Bully for 360 (which I somehow missed for PS2). Running around with a pumpkin on your head throwing stink bombs at people is surprisingly therapeutic after a long day. I cleaned my desk fish tank the other day, so it's no longer nasty. Among the casualties since it's acquisition: One awesome red-tailed shark named Boris. One cory named Doob (named after a friend...not what you'd think, I promise). One sucker fish named Glorp. Half the cool paint job on my favorite skull decoration after a vigorous algae-cleansing scrub. RIP fishies (and cool paint job) =( OK, back to work for me now! See you more this weekend! Monday, July 21, 2008 The past week has been extremely busy for me with projects and other tasks. My Monday morning meetings wrapped up a little early, so I'll be playing catch up on wiki stuff for a while. Sorry for my absence!
