One of the many illegitimate children of the King of Kryta and his concubines, Salma's half-sister ran from the prejudice she received and fell in love with Luthor as she took refuge in his home. When she discovered his allegiances with the Mantle she fled from him to Cantha, where she trained as an Assassin, all the while harbouring hatred towards the Krytan royal family, the White Mantle, and more than anything else, her ex-lover, Luthor. Older and wiser now, she seeks to bring an end to her past, wiping the slate clean. However, in the time spent wandering the globe, she has learnt a great deal... including information about Luthor's whereabouts and dealings. At first not quite trusting the new-found knowledge of his allegiances, she approached him warily, from a distance. Later, however, she gradually began to trust him again and the relationship appears to be improving as together, they vowed to take down the Mantle for all their sins and travel the planet together, seeing the many sights and wonders as well as helping those in the same position as herself, many years ago.
As she has aged, Kyri has naturally distanced herself from society due to her profession and bad experiences in her youth. As such, this has made her distant even to those she counts as as friends. She prefers the role of a scout, or the silent follower. As she explores, she pays careful attention to her environment, not knowing where danger may strike from, and from this finds it hard to relax after a battle or while off-duty. She is regarded as someone to look up to as, while young, her wisdom transcends her years.
