What skills do you think should remove Weapon spells? for me disarm seems obvious. Borotvaltgandalf 16:03, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
No. Weapons spells need MORE help, not nerfs.[edit]
Weapons spells are on the crappier end ofthe spectrum. Only the easily abusable ones are any good. (WoR, Vengeful, WoS, Splinter) The rest fail to an epic degree. Thats are possibly the only weapons that would need some spam/cheep control, and Splinter already has been nerfed to shit. Who in all of GW finds weapon spells IMBA? thats a good way to waste time- "YES LETS NERF VITEL WEPON TO +1-15 HP LULZ ITS TOO GEWD" What im tryign to say is-
- Who the HELL wants to nerf weapon spells when you consider the modern metagame? Sway doesnt even use that many weapon spells.[[User:Phill Gaston|Phill Gaston]] 01:44, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Weapon of warding: irremovable block and regen. Sway uses this Borotvaltgandalf 09:49, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Weapon of guardian . For Enough to keep up seconds Guardian. Also its unremovable. Lilondra *gale* 19:23, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
Vital Weapon: Less than Vital Blessing 1/4 sec more than Vital blessing but who cares? who cares It's easily maintained Vital Blessing without the upkeep cost. Borotvaltgandalf 06:54, 18 November 2008 (UTC) Shadow Form: 10 1 WTF you can maintain it If you are in an uwsc group and you have a conset on, then you become invincible. Else you fail.

Once again, if you aren't asking something directly of Izzy, keep your commentary off his page. Skill feedback/suggestions goes on the skill feedback pages. Your comments were NOT constructive, so they were removed. -- Wyn 13:13, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well... someone should clean up thoose skill pages. and delete GW2 profession suggestions which are tagged. If I want to fix them I get accused of vandalism.Boro 15:35, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Not a warning, but a suggestion; your latest section would really be a community issue, so you can start a discussion (or move that section) at ArenaNet talk:Portal or another relevant page. -- Brains12 \ talk 15:02, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
Feedback pages[edit]
Instead of crying about the feedback pages being out of date due to updates, feel free to help clean them up. If you know an issue has been fixed due to an update, archive it. -- Wyn 17:58, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
- Please don't cut or substantially alter others' skill feedback entries without their permission. Also, misplaced posts should generally be moved to the appropriate talk page, and text should not be cut from others' posts. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 22:33, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yes It was a wrong decision I made. I was confused a little when I did this but the reason was: to make more viable solutions. If Arenanet would have implemented some of the SForm suggestions, many shadow form players would rage, and ANet doesn't want people to rage. Instead, give them some form of new content in the skill (like shadowstep back to the original location).Boro 07:47, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
my warrior rebalance[edit]
is +- finished.I think I got the basics but the numbers proly are a bit off and I'm afraid some skills would be imbalanced.I would appreciate it if you would free some time to watch it and give your opinion : http://www.wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/User:Lilondra/Gamebalance/Warrior Lilondra *gale* 20:59, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
- Warrior's endurance should give back some more energy or to last longer.
- Magehunter cries to be abused by rangers with expertise. interrupts every 5 seconds and basically free for rangers. and along with the sword buffs and axe buffs you made, they can deal nice pressure.
- I will take a closer look. Boro 12:45, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Your reaction on my suggestion[edit]
Hi, I read you're reaction om my Universal protection title suggestion, and i don't understand you're message. You said: "Reworked it to prevent much discrimination. Players like didis should think about discrimination and about it's possible effects to discriminated players. If the previous shit was implemented (only with character slots) GW would have achieved a VERY BAD reputation."
What was the discriminating part? One thing i never want is to discrimate others. In my opinion discriminating is rase, religion, sexual preference etc related. So maybe you used the wrong word. I can't see the link. Please let me know! Didis 09:37, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
- The discriminating part - in this case - is preventing players who don't pay for extra character slots from having access to the title. and if the title gives advantage like extra drops, it's discrimination towards thoose who only buy the campaigns, the expansions but don't want/have access to pay online for character slots.
- I apologize for the players like didis... part. I hope everything is clear now. Boro 11:57, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
- "Advantages" aren't a bad thing Boro, and they are certainly not the same as "discrimination" I look at it as, if I choose to put more in, then I should get more back. Example, I am a very dedicated customer to a certain store, I have a credit card to that store--I sign up for their mailing list--I attend all their sales events and because of my loyalty I get coupons in the mail or early access to sales events before someone walking though the door. There's nothing discriminitory in that...your loyalty is being rewarded, as it should, considering that you go that extra mile, you give that extra love. That's smart marketing, as you always want to give an incentive. Unfortunately, a big part of life is accepting that you won't always have everything handed to you--often the race will be won by the swift, as it rightfully should be--and not everyone is on the same level.--*Yasmin Parvaneh* 21:12, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- Coming from an ex-modder (not really, but I don't have the time so much with preparing for my master's work) / game developer, it's really hard to gauge something like that. From a business perspective, if you're all about just making money, the idea is great. Of course, most things just from a purely business perspective, especially if that thing is, in the end, only a temporary investment, are great, even if they piss your consumers off. The problem comes with ethics, far sighted business, and core values of the business. Personally, I hate business, but I've been having to wade through it to learn more about starting my own.Saraphimknight 01:51, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

Next Update (Skills)-Shadow Form Sub Discussion[edit]
- → moved from user:Linsey Murdock
- Sins: Obsidian+Glyph of swiftness+Stoneflesh aura makes you vunerable to interrupts, and you still need one armor buff to negate attack damage. The second version is 4 skills, and the third is still vunerable to attacks... See the problem? Boro 07:39, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- If you're gonna get nit picky on me I can do the same. Shadow Form weaknesses:Leech Signet, PB AoE, Well of the Profane, Signet of Disenchantment, Giant Stomp, Trample, Expunge Enchantments, Banish Enchantment, Traps, DoT AoE i.e. Symbol of Wrath, Rending Aura, Tranquility. Don't give me that BS situational crap for countering the other ways you can be invincible.~>Sins WDB 00:44, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- Signet of Humility, array of Touch Skills, Illusionary Weaponry, Quickening Zephyr, Signet of Weariness...forgot some~>Sins WDB 00:59, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- My original statement was that shadow form gives both 100% attack and targeted spell immunity. For other sources you can get some counters, but in the end shadow form is the best current tanking method, on a caster. And Shadow form sin team + roj monk can still farm out UW in less than half an hour, and with the proper amount of QQers, FoW is also a pie of cake in HM thanks to Terras soloing some parts. Also for your (sins) proposed tanking methods: Yours are vunerable to those sources you listed, but also Savage Slash Distracting Blow Distracting Strike Savage Shot Distracting Shot Distracting Blow and also to ALL conditions from those sources(incl: Dazed): Concussion Shot Broad Head Arrow Skull Crack Quivering Blade (list of condition causing melee and ranged attack skills intended) So I hope you see why shadow form is far more powerful than other current tanking methods.
- I almost forgot: Devastating Hammer, Earth Shaker, Magehunter's Smash Hammer Bash Counter Blow (in case you are attacking), also KD-s from Abyssal attacks and other large monsters, Bull's Strike Heavy Blow. Maybe forgot some too. --Boro 12:07, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

- I couldn't care less about these farming builds. If PvE was designed around rewarding skill > time played I would, but the fact is without these farming methods items wouldn't get circulated into the economy and prices would be insane. Since the system is flawwed I'm fine with having minimal effort yielding valuables into the games economic circulation.~>Sins WDB 16:35, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- The problem is that there is no equality in the efficency of professions. For me it'd be acceptable if all professions were given a feasible way to do farming. But monks can do every single dungeon in solo, and if monks can't sins can. and THIS is what's annoying. Especially If I want Zquests: You can hardly get your message trough the farming advertisers. Boro 17:53, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- I'm all for each profession having their own specialized farming methods. Many do, but I hear you about the idea your getting at. Only the ele, monk, sin, and dervish have invincibuilds. Only the sin and dervish can truly run any area in the game. I prefer the system the way it is honestly, because it encourages people to try professions that might not be their primary if they feel like farming. I know some people don't like this because they find it annoying to start a new character and get it max armor, runned out, get weapons, etc... However, if the game didn't feel like such a grind people wouldn't care so much about this. I wouldn't mind seeing other professions be able to farm more extensively as long as it doesn't result in imba play. I still would rather have rewards be more available through finishing a certain number of sidequests or something.~>Sins WDB 18:15, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- Remember B/P? that was a good time... until ppl realized that shadow form is f**ing imba because then linsey had minimal knowledge about game balance. (she's getting into it. just be patient and never forget to tell her the principles of balancing (I mean link to shard's pages)) Boro 12:49, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

Just a by the way, any class except Warrior and Paragon can 600/smite. Monks and Ritualists are the best, Ranger is the worst, but any caster primary can do it fine and rangers JUST manage, so STFU about class inequality. Misery 12:15, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

I have played on internet two times with my brother sitting behind me, and it worked well for 10 or 15 minutes (from arhok to storage cave+yellow eye killed) then it disconnected at the server (I had to restart the host computer completely, and changing the host computer didn't work) I'm planning to ask the devs about it but that's all I can do.
